Please join Hillary in history's trash bin, Walsh

I am appalled.

This is even more disgusting than I imagined it could be. Not only does she repeat the same baseless, unsupported arguments about sexism in the campaign, when the only sexism was the older white women who voted for Clinton even though they did not like and/or trust her according to the exit polls.

Walsh failed to criticize Clinton for giving a victory speech on the night that she lost. Then she attacked those "sexist" media men who did dare criticize St. Hillary.

Walsh brought up the false contrversy over the phase "pimping out", which was used in its dictionary-defined context of "using another in an unsavory manner for your own benefit". How the hell do you get from an accurate if poorly chosen term to sexism? Most pimps are men, so the allegation is counterintuitive. Chelsea should have known better than to do the dirty work for her mother. Having Chelsea work to suppress the will of the voters could very well come back to hurt Ms Clinton should she ever decide to run for public office. I would call that an unsavory use, even if I would know better than to use the phrase "pimp out" on TV.

But Walsh really went too far when she defended the racists. The main thrust of this piece is that racism is OK, but voting against the woman makes you a sexist pig. Ferraro is a bitter, jealous BIGOT. She is a classic Archie Bunker racist, not to mention a hypocrite. Obama is NOT going to win the racist vote, no matter who talks to or who his VP choice is. The racists are going to be racists.

Ferraro is a sleazebag. Clinton is a sleazebag. The phrase "What a bitch!" has been uttered almost daily in my home. 98.3746% of the time, it was not me saying it, but my my wife. Is my wife sexist? Hillary is called a bitch, not because she is a tough woman, but because she is a scumbag of a woman who will say or do anything for power. If she were a man, she wouldn't be called a bitch, but she would be called a host of equally profane names, as George Bush has been at least 25 times a day for the last 8 years in my home, by both of us.

The real sexism was the way any man who didn't support Clinton was called a sexist. There are more reasons to NOT support Clinton than can be listed in under 1000 words. Sexism isn't one of them. I would love to see Kathleen Sebelius as Obama's VP pick. I am proud to live in a country where Nancy Pelosi is a few heartbeats from the Presidency and more powerful than any VP (other than for puppet presidents like Bush). Sebelius probably doesn't have a very good chance at the VP slot. Is it because of sexism? NO. It is because she doesn't bring military/foreign policy experience to the ticket. I think that she would be a great VP, but may not be the best choice for this election. As more women return from active duty in Iraq, the pool of women with military experience will continue to grow as will the opportunities for women in general thanks to the groundbreaking runs of BOTH candidates.

To all the women screaming sexism:

I implore you to get over your anger that Hillary lost and take a good hard look at whom you were backing and why. Tuesday night was her chance to show some class for the first time since Iowa and she blew it. This race has been OVER since Indiana at the very latest. It was then that the supers began saying that they would "give her some time to figure out how this ends." The party leaders bent over backwards to give Hillary a chance to make a graceful exit. She spit in their faces. Today they let her know in no uncertain terms that it is over, something that they had tried their best to avoid having to do. And this is the person that you want to hang the mantle of feminism on? You are willing to see Roe v Wade overturned because this woman lost. If so, you (not all women, just the diehards) are every bit as vacuuous as the real sexists have always claimed women are.
