Lolly

You're exactly right.

Canuckistan Bob

Life saving and pleasure destroying though they may be.

Pleasure destroying? Your obviously using the wrong condom. Take a few out for a test drive and you'll eventually find the one that feels like nothing at all. You don't have to buy the first box you see.

27 million...

...that's a lot of money to a candidate guaranteed to lose the presidency to the republics.

Tuesday, October 2, 2007 05:21 PM

And again...

...it's an invasion and occupation, not a war.

Tuesday, October 2, 2007 05:26 PM

For the thousand-th time...

...INVASION AND OCCUPATION, not war. Congress didn't declare war on Iraq.

Please, I'm begging you Salon, stop calling the clusterfuck in Iraq a war cause it ain't!

Try some real pornography

It's better than any real estate section I've ever seen. Now that is truly one of God's greatest gifts.

Who gives a shit about Limbaugh and O'Reilly?

Who listens to or watches these assholes anyway? Not me. They don't even figure in my daily or yearly routine, so fuck em.

I'll bet Salon readers wouldn't have even known about the shit that runs out of Rush and Bill's mouths if they hadn't read it somewhere in the news. It means as much as Coulter's books. Zero.

Lots of people here calling Bush stupid.

In my world, it's 51% of the voting public that gets that monicker. Bush reflects the majority of voting americans. Your neighbors and some of your friends and family are the idiots.

Modeler

George Bush is a savage demon. We all know this. Almost half of american voters in 2000 voted for Bush. That says a lot about americans. In 2004 MORE than half voted for Bush...again!

My conclusion is that half to more than half of the american voters think exactly like Bush and want him as our president.

Your neighbores and some of your family are responsible for Bush. He may be an asshole but he's the asshole choice of a majority of american voters.

Don't like Bush, blame Americans. It's their fault he's been with us for 8 years not his. Don't blame a dog for being president. Blame the fucking jerks that voted the dog president. TWICE!

OligarchyNot

I agree with you. I understand it all, believe me.

When I hear anyone complain about our government I ask them if they voted and if they didn't, they don't count. Literally.

This country belongs to the people who can get out of bed, register to vote and actually show up on election day. The majority of americans can't manage to do those simple thing for an hour on one day every four years and to those people I say, "Fuck you and your opinions, you don't count."

The people who showed up made the 2 races so close that we ended up with a fucking maniac as president and they went for it twice. I believe the majority of the people in this country are crazy. Period. Just my opinion. The fact that he's still in office proves my point.

I wouldn't resign either.

It's not illegal to be gay and it's not illegal to ask for sex. Why did the idiot plead guilty in the first place? That was his big mistake. He's guilty of being a closeted homosexual...but that's not illegal either.

Friday, October 5, 2007 07:23 AM

The saddest part is...

...Rush and Bill and Fox news represent the majority of America. People who find Rush and his like disgusting are in the minority in this country.

I live in a progressive tourist area in a red state and when the rental houses here turn over every week there are 2 channels that the TV sets are always on virtually without fail, The Weather Channel and Fox News.

People like to believe that America is becoming more liberal and tolerant but I beg to differ. Live in a red state for a while if you don't now. The level of ignorance of even the most basic news events is fucking stunning.

I hope this doesn't happen but watch it if it does;

Hillary Clinton gets the nomination and every republican and winger freak comes out of hiding to save God's country.

Progressive America will be shocked at how far we haven't come in this country. I live in the crazy room every day, I hope you don't get to see it.

Re: anon

I was born in a blue state, I lived in a blue state til the age of 27 and moved to a red state because it's unbelievably beautiful here. I'm fully aware of the economic situation in the blue states but everything is relative. It's no more affordable in most red states no matter what people think. Same price for gas, housing, food, services the only thing that's cheaper is the taxes and that's moving in the wrong direction now. Red state/Blue state, it's a financial wash.

The real difference in Red state/Blue state is the police force! WOW!

Fuck censure, get to work instead.

I personally don't care where you stick your dick on off hours just save my constitution first.

"The results of the Gallup poll are puzzling to me. Particularly the graph showing that the public's perception of the media being too liberal has been nearly stable since 2001."

This is probably the best observation so far in my opinion. This will help anyone predict the next election with a good deal of accuracy and it looks pretty bleak to me.

Tommie27

You took the words right out of my mouth!

This is a prime example of the reason I weep for this country.

For all debts, public and private.

It's been a long time but I do remember there being a law that if a merchant won't accept cash for a purchase then he must provide the product or service at a reduced rate or for free. I'll have to look that one up again but that's in my mind from a long time ago.

If there's one thing I've learned over the years...

...it's this; POLLS ARE SHIT.

I took my own poll and the results are just in, I'm not voting for Hillary under any circumstance.
