MAV

The 2nd amendment reads:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

It doesn't read:

Joe Blow and his mother get a gun.

The word "regulated" is even used in the sentence, so I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Most people don't know this woman and don't have an opinion of her yet but they sure do have opinions on guns, so it seems guns will be the topic of this column and not this woman.

If Bill Kristol says it's his last column...

...it's not.

He's never been right about anything.

I know the GOP left DC on Tuesday...

...but didn't any of them see the pictures of the millions of people that turned out for the ceremony and parade?

Forget party loyalty and do what's best for America.

In case you haven't heard, the USA is in a mess right now.

If Matt Drudge can't even accept his own sexuality...

...how can he be expected to accept climate change or any other scientific argument?

Bill O'Reilly stalked and sexually harrassed his producer.

That is the official definition of a "LOSER".

You are a loser Mr. O'Reilly.

How many hundreds of thousands of dollars does it cost for modern cancer treatment?

Why does it cost hundreds of thousands of dollars for modern cancer treatment?

These questions, which she can answer first hand, are of more importance to the country as a whole. I'd rather she did the talk show circuit discussing this topic instead of the affair B.S.

Rain on your wedding day is something out of your control.

Not paying your taxes ain't the same thing.

Wednesday, February 4, 2009 07:44 AM

@badandymk3

That was funny.

Original article: Stimulus bill not dead yet

I know!

After voting in a whole bunch of Democrats, we can just do what the Republicans want!

Thursday, February 5, 2009 07:18 AM

Democrats don't need to sell anything.

In a few month when the unemployment rate reaches 10%, it'll sell itself.

Obama should instruct all unemployment offices and food banks to immediately begin handing out tax cuts instead of food and benefits and watch how fast that stimulous bill gets passed.

@IaintBacchus & persephone

Outstanding!

That about sums it up!

Monday, February 9, 2009 07:31 AM

Congress can certainly get it's ass in gear...

...when it's Terry Schiavo.

Just rename the stimulous bill "The Super Patriot Embryo Mega Christian Marriage Sanctity Act of 2009" and watch that fucker pass in seconds!

New subjects for future polls

How about:

How many meals did you skip last month to pay the rent?

Have you pissed blood from stress yet?

Does your local grocery store accept tax cuts for food?

Do you like hundreds of rich people making life decisions for you?

Tuesday, February 10, 2009 08:58 AM

Hundreds of millionaires in D.C. deciding how best to "help" the average American.

The members of the house and senate receive $174,000 a year minimum to run their mouths and get nothing done. Their paychecks are never in danger of not coming. They won't miss their mortgage payments, they won't go hungry. EVER.

Why should I believe they give a shit about you and me? They're not suffering now and they won't be suffering no matter what they do in Congress.

Since we are broke as a nation, they borrow their paycheck money from America's credit card. How does this bullshit happen and how can they continually act as if they give a shit about you and me without laughing in our faces?

The American people are all suckers, me included. We must be fucking mentally challenged to allow these people to sit in office and collect $174,000 minimum while our country slides into the fire.

Wednesday, February 11, 2009 10:00 AM

I'm torn.

Do I laugh my ass off or finish carving America's headstone.

Either way, we're fucking finished.

Hands down, my all time favorite for any occasion!

"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."

Love it.

Nothing shuts a religious conversation down faster than that one! Don't want to hear about your religious beliefs and I'm certainly not going to tell you mine, so how about we all just shut up about it till the day when we all find out the truth.

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 07:17 AM

If Cheney is pissed...

...imagine how Valerie Plame feels.

Thursday, February 19, 2009 07:43 AM

It doesn't matter who Obama appoints.

"Dean isn't even near the top of the list due to concern from concern Senate Democrats about his ability to work with Republicans on health care reform."

You could appoint Jesus Christ as HHS head and Republicans still wouldn't work with him. Might as well pick Dean.

Monday, February 23, 2009 08:11 AM

The burden of proof is now on the wingnuts to prove he isn't American.

People have physically examined the document, for Christ's sake. The Republicans lost. Fair and square. Sorry. Move on.

Even if the goofball wingnuts were right and Obama was removed from office you'd have Biden as president. Now you have to come up with a crazy-assed excuse for everyone in the line of succession. Get busy.

Grow up.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009 07:48 AM

@sonofloud

What gay rights were in place that Obama removed?

Friday, February 27, 2009 08:04 AM

@tbrandel

The part of Judge Smails will be played by John McCain.

Friday, February 27, 2009 08:06 AM

@timbuktom

That was funny!

They really have no clue at all, and that's the funniest part.

It took place last November.

Sorry you missed it.

@D Robert

Exactly.

Plus I'll take a shitty writer anytime. One who gets their facts straight and doesn't have an agenda.

Thursday, March 5, 2009 03:13 AM

Who cares anymore.

Rove, Miers, Bush and Cheney have won. Give it up already. When you should have hit them hard, Congress, you caved. Now your just wasting time and money.

All this folks, for only $174,000 each a year! What a bargain.

Original article: The Republicans strike back

The last time I checked...

...Rush was a drug addicted-deaf-morbidly obese-thrice divorced-childless-draft dodging-chickenhawk.

Not much lower in my opinion, so why grovel to him?

Seriously.

Monday, March 9, 2009 08:21 AM

Instead of wasting time on the draft-dodger chickenhawk...

...the dems should be playing up the cooperation of the 3 republicans who had the patriotism to put party aside and work with the majority to find a solution to our current problems. If you want more cooperation in the future with moderate republicans, compliment the ones that have worked with you in the past.

Wednesday, March 11, 2009 08:49 AM

How is it...

...that the american people have to go to a comedy program to get the real news?

I wonder what Cramer got from B-S to keep up his pimping for them. I hope it was worth it.

Monday, March 16, 2009 05:57 PM

@terry

I'm glad you brought that point up.

Republicans and those on the right ONLY watch FOX. They NEVER watch any other news program, just ask Victoria Jackson.

Tuesday, March 17, 2009 08:17 AM

Seriously

Are we going to have to hear about every footstep and stumble this zero takes for the next 4 years?
