Original article: This Modern World

There was this president once named Carter

and once upon a time he tried to get the american people to use this crazy stuff called....now what was it again....oh yeah, ethanol. But that was so 30 years ago. Look how good we're doing now without it and all that pesky research we could have been doing since. You might even call it "ignorant".

I heard all he does now is build houses for poor people.

What a jerk.

Mosby and Karenn

Mosby: I agree with you as well.

Karenn: Go vote for McCain already or just calm down, Jesus.

Wednesday, June 4, 2008 06:38 PM

Please Hillary, whatever you do Saturday night...

...keep your old man away from the microphone. Do us all a favor.

Original article: Quote of the day

Morford's columns are for fun.

This is just a way to get the Obama haters and supporters to throw shit at each other for another day.

I wonder if everyone who has commented here has bothered to check the Morford column in question out completely. Morford's columns are really just entertainment. Some of his columns are hysterical, laugh out loud funny.

People are looking for things to get upset about now. I know McCain articles don't get as many hits as the Obama against Hillary articles. Lighten up.

What a credit limit!

How do you get a $250,000 credit limit and what could you possibly have to do in your life to hit it without paying it off first.

Someone in the Bush administration lied?

There's a fuckin shock.

Original article: Gore endorses Obama

So much for the liberal media.

Every station cut away as soon as Gore was finished. I couldn't find Obama's speech anywhere on TV. You liberals that control the media are really slipping.

Here's the link to the Salon Kucinich impeachment articles. I think the last one was on Monday.

You were "really" interested in them, right?

Thursday, June 19, 2008 06:34 PM

I don't care who makes wind turbines.

Buy them. Put them up. Get them going.

I hope GE makes solar panels too. Buy them. Put them up. Get them going as well. Let's go people!

All politicians are publicly funded all the time.

You can give your money to the government to give to the candidates or you can pick which one gets your money all by yourself. Same difference, only when you give it to the government, the government will give it to one of the candidates you don't support. I'd rather my money goes only to the candidate I support and not split up among people like Fred Thompson.

Every drop of money these candidates spend comes from us regardless of who hands it over to them.

While your looking at $4.00+ at the pump...

Here's a little info that opened my eyes quite a bit.

Do Americans have to kill everything we touch?

Seriously.

Friday, June 27, 2008 08:42 AM

Why doesn't the FRC go after Bob Barr?

Barr is the one candidate for president that asked his wife to get an abortion and then paid for it himself. He and his wife will tell you the same thing(at least his wife will).

George Bush also had a little problem with a Texas abortion as I seem to recall.

Maybe the FRC just doesn't like Democrats?

Monday, June 30, 2008 06:27 AM

Getting shot down doesn't qualify you to be president.

Having 8 to 10 homes while pretending to be a common man and not knowing the price of gas while the rest of the country grinds to a halt from high energy prices....that qualifies you to be president.

Wednesday, July 2, 2008 05:14 PM

McCain had as much to do with freeing the Colombian hostages...

as Raygun did freeing the Iranian hostages.

ZERO!

Sunday, July 6, 2008 10:19 AM

Who's David Sedaris?

Quick, what classification am I in if I don't know who David Sedaris is?!?! Am I still white? What am I!?

Not having someone elses opinion of me is killing me!

Original article: Big speech, big venue

Why do almost all of the repub trolls...

...have sci-fi nicknames? A little creepy.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008 07:13 AM

@stevio

Fucking right.

Anyone who votes for this bill is a fucking traitor, plain and simple, and they won't be getting my vote.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008 10:06 PM

Let's see if I've got this right...

...since I've been listening to republicants for the last 7+ years.

What McCain is saying is: Maliki is surrendering to the terrorists?

Yeah, I think I have that about right.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008 10:13 PM

@snyderico

I thought gay marriage was illegal in Florida?

Crist will look beautiful in white.

Original article: Betrayed by Obama

No place to go?

I'm glad Obama fucked us all before the election so we can clearly see who we'll be voting for.

Mr Obama, ya lost me.

I'll find some place else to go, don't you worry Ms. Walsh.

Thursday, July 10, 2008 07:21 AM

Maybe I'll vote for Cynthia McKinney instead

I can't see me voting for someone who gives my rights away. I don't give a shit what the alternative is. Lets have complete destruction and rebuilding instead of the slow motion implosion of this once great nation.

I've just had 7+ years of shame and disappointment to live through, I don't need to be ashamed of my vote for the next 4.

Friday, July 11, 2008 07:17 AM

Obama just gave me the finger on FISA

McKinney gets my vote now.

How's that for a fucking conspiracy.

Friday, July 11, 2008 09:14 AM

"I will filibuster any bill with telecom amnesty."

Liar.

That's what this all boils down to for me. I trusted you to do the right thing on this monumental issue and you fucked me. Now you can win or lose the election minus 1 vote.

Monday, July 14, 2008 06:51 AM
Original article: Obama: "My plan for Iraq"

First he should give a speech on television about his FISA vote

and he can explain to me why he felt it was necessary to lie about his FISA position and why I should vote for another liar who doesn't think it's important to protect my rights and allows criminals to go free.

I've had enough of that bullshit for the last 8 years to last me a lifetime, thanks.

Being fertile is not a medical problem.

I understand the argument but I don't understand the rationale.

If your junk doesn't work in the way nature intended, that's a medical problem. If your junk works just fine but you want to stop it from working, that's not a medical problem.

McCain is still unfit to be president but the argument is all wrong.

Wednesday, July 16, 2008 09:25 AM

RDisdier

Nice try.

I agree that birth control and sex education should be easily available. Condoms are cheap and easily available and they don't require a woman to pump chemicals into her body that may cause nasty side effects when the woman is healthy to begin with. Get your partner to put a condom on.

By the way, I don't think insurance companies should be paying for "boner meds" either.

Also, I don't think pregnancy can be called a "condition" either. If it can be, then a lot of natural functions of the body can be called "conditions".
