Electro Robot

NoCackylackistan HAS NO juvenile justice system. Offenders as young as 16 can and are tried as adults for any crime the ADA sees fit. The Tarheel Blight has in practice, the toughest drug laws in the country. In effect any amount of drugs in your possession, any amount, is generally tried as a felony.

If any police are called to a home by 911, under the law, SOMEONE is getting arrested.

-- Electro Robot

Are you out of your mind or do you live in some other NC? You need to take a pill and sleep it off because your delusional.

Any amount of drugs in your possession is generally tried as a felony in NC. Not true.

Maybe there are special super secret laws in Wake county that the rest of NC doesn't have, which I doubt, but these are just untrue for NC. If you want NC to be a crazy Brownshirt state, that's your opinion, but some of the things you say are law are simple not true. I live in NC and I know you are not correct.

Original article: The fight for fair pay

Well then...

...let's drop all the congresswomen's $169,300 salaries by 23%. That should be a huge hit to Pelosi who makes $212,000...for doing nothing. And this proves it.

If God doesn't like fags...

...then why did he spare the old city of New Orleans, where the gay pride parade would take place? He destroyed everything around it plus Mississippi.

If God destroys things he doesn't like with hurricanes, it seems Katrina was aimed at gambling, not homosexuals.

Now I miss that Benen guy.

200 postings about a speculative newspaper column.

I say, 50/50 chance she tries to run independantly after Obama secures the nomination.

-- saintzak

Exactly. I've been saying the same thing for months. She's gonna pull a "Joementum" on the democrats.

Told who what?

The NC primary is 8 days away. Save your gloating til it's over, you just might be wrong.

I certainly hope my friends aren't painted with the things I say.

If they are, they would all be labeled assholes.

This is such a non-issue, I can't believe it still has legs. Ferraro ain't Clinton and Wright ain't Obama.

We really should be concerning ourselves with real issues like flag pins.

4,056 dead soldiers in Iraq...

...9.4 TRILLION dollar national debt, and all people want to do is talk about some guy from some church somewhere who gave a speech that Clinton supporters won't let die.

Your gonna get exactly what you deserve come November. Just like 2000 and again in 2004.

Tuesday, April 29, 2008 08:33 AM

Look! Obama has big ears and still no flag pin!

Someone on Clinton's staff said something stupid!

This post got in here by mistake. Nothing to see here...move along to the next useless story.

Republicans suck. Dems are spineless. The media is corrupt.

And I thought it was just me.

@ Joe Buck

You forgot "dry drunk" and "ex-Cokehead" (as far as we know). -- bilhelm

Don't forget coward draft-dodger chickenhawk. Oh, and CIA cover-blowing traitor.

Vitter should be the one on the rope, not her.

Sad.

Pre-video times.

What did people blame Jack the Ripper's rage on if they didn't have a video game to point to?

Monday, May 5, 2008 08:30 AM

What a choice!

Vote for the party that screws up everything they touch or vote for the party that does absolutely nothing.

They went for the party that does nothing.

Anyone who says "don't tell the boyfriend" is insane.

Put yourself in the boyfriend's shoes.

See, your on the phone already.

I predict

that no matter what, Salon readers will be angry malcontent bigots who think that Hillary Clinton eats babies and Obama is Gandalf the Wise.

-- Electro Robot

Your setting yourself up for a fall tomorrow? You already predicted a Hillary win in NC so why so cranky?

By the way, 25 posts a day from the end of March 2008? You have time to write 920 letters to Salon in a month when you could have been out canvassing for Hillary?

Hey W.E.S.!

Long time. I got deleted again yesterday.

How's by you?

Tuesday, May 6, 2008 08:39 AM

W.E.S.

It doesn't really matter who the nominee is. The dems have an amazing track record of fucking the whole thing up at the last minute anyway. They took congress with the promise of stopping this clusterfuck of an invasion and they have done absolutely nothing in the year and a half that they have been in power, why not just nominate Gravel and be done with it.

This country gets exactly what it deserves. The head of the GAO just resigned because he can't stand to watch the country go into receivership on his watch.

None of this matters anyway, it's just a formality.

What about the 11% republican "operation chaos" vote in Indiana?

Remove them, and Obama won Indiana in a landslide. Sorry.

This morning I was wondering what the Clinton people would throw at Obama now that The Rev. story seems to be over and now I know by reading some of these letters. There are some nutty people out there.

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 07:39 AM

What happened to the republicans last night?

Q: What was missing from the return coverage last night?

A: Any mention of the republican returns in NC and Indiana.

That alone should be example enough of the media's love of this story. They're so ravenous of this dem battle that they completely forgot to cover anything on the repub side. There could have been a nuclear missile launched last night and they wouldn't have even covered it. The "news coverage" is getting more spooky by the day.

I live in NC and I was interested in hearing ALL the returns last night. I guess not.

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 07:50 AM

Thanks elcarg

We still had Huckabee, Keyes, Paul and McCain on the repub ticket here in NC and I was interested in the vote breakdown on both tickets but the "news" only told me I was interested in the dem race. I'd like to gauge McCain's support using the vote tally but I guess I'll just have to hear about the dems from now on.

Fall in line, nothing to see here. Move along.

Thursday, May 8, 2008 06:43 AM

I wish McCain had never been a POW

That way he'd be easier for me to hate. Almost everything he and his party stand for, I disagree with, but I just can't hate the man.
