Yesterdays nation debt figure was $9,392,558,361,529.10

Maybe we'll come home a second before America goes into receivership. Perhaps after Bush leaves office he can travel the world on our behalf to ask to world to forgive our debt.

Why didn't Nancy endorse Hillary?

One thing Hillary has that McCain will never have:

Hillary attended Wellesley College and she was the "President of the College Republicans". OUCH! Take that McCain....or take that democrats. I can't figure out which party it's worse for!

This shit sure is bizarre.

The surge worked perfectly!

It got Iraq out of the republican debates.

Now, what to call the same bullshit tactic we use in the general election? Look everyone, it's illegal immigration again!!!!

There is ONE person who can straighten out Iraq in 1 week...

...we hanged him? Oh. Never mind.

Independents: are you stupid or what?

Nope.

How anyone could call themselves Republican or Democrat in America today escapes me and most other Independents.

George Bush was a complete and absolute failure in his first term and people re-elected the moron. The newly elected congress has done absolutely nothing to control this president or his asshole policies. Spineless, amoral pussies, the whole lot of them.

I'll stay Independent thanks.

Polls don't have a clue how we vote because there doesn't happen to be an Independent party in America at this time in history, sadly.

Why shouldn't Limbaugh republicans vote for Hillary?

After all, she was the president of her college Republican Party.

Monday, March 31, 2008 07:48 AM

NC superdelegates going to Obama BEFORE the vote?

What the fuck is that?

Hillary is a shit candidate but we've waited this long to vote in the primary, why should they jump the gun and endorse anyone at this time?.

Hillary was her college Republican party president and she attends fundraisers thrown for her by Rupert Murdoch. Maybe NC will vote for her after all in the primary. NC is a red state after all.

Original article: McCain, Obama in spat

Why is McCain wasting his time on Obama?

Doesn't he know Hillary will be the nominee cause she can answer the phone at 3 in the morning? She also dodges sniper fire and brought peace to Ireland? Doesn't he know that!!!!!

Come on you Hillary supporters, help me out here! McCain is acknowledging Obama, freak out about something!!!!

Neck and neck?

And I hear Edwards is pulling up on the outside too.

Hillary Clinton supporters will be just that til the end. You can tell them that she pals around with Rupert Murdoch and goes to Fox News anniversary parties and she was the President of her college Republican party and on and on and god love em, they still support her...all the way...into the ground...or the McCain presidency.

Did anyone catch Armstrong Williams on MSNBC last night?

Williams was actually standing up for Obama against the right wing bullshitters. That's what Obama has that Clinton never will.

Hillary attends fundraisers at News Corp headquarters and goes to Fox News anniversary parties and she can't even get a winger to wave to her let alone a paid stooge for the Bush administration to actually agree and defend her like Williams did for Obama.

Hillary Clinton as the nominee will produce a census of the Republican party on election day.

Hey W.E.S.!

Some harmless banter between the 2 of us and I get my posts yanked? No cursing, no threats, just jokes and Salon removes me.

Stay on message people. The folks here at Salon have some extremely thin skin and take themselves way too seriously.

I've been coming here for years to get a laugh and to see how extreme the crazies on either side can get but things have spun way out of orbit with Salon lately.

Come on W.E.S., back me up brother.

Thursday, April 3, 2008 06:54 AM

W.E.S.

Oh, I don't blame you my friend.

People take things they can't control in this world and themselves way too seriously. The things said here on Salon by me, you or anyone else mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of the world and will produce zero result in changing anything on this planet. The only thing that will make a difference(maybe) is voting when you have the opportunity to do so.

So take care of yourself W.E.S. and vote for the person that best represents you and your future, as I will.

My local polling captain is an extremely old man who doesn't know my politics and didn't ask who I voted for and he said 8 words to me that I'll never forget:

"Thank you for voting, your a good american."

That about says it all for me.

Thursday, April 3, 2008 07:17 AM

W.E.S.

That would be fine with me!

I'm a registered Independent in a red state and my candidates never win anyway but I vote because I love to use my rights every chance I get. I'm just really happy that I might get to vote in a primary this time around! I get to use my rights on May 6th and that's something I haven't been able to do for years.

So listen up Hillary and Obama....please stay in the race so I can get to vote for a change!

Your right, it was a Koppelman story. Craziness.

I enjoy Salon but I take each story and editor with a grain of salt. I really enjoy reading the comments and I get a laugh more so than not from them. People say stupid things and so do I but this place is just a relief valve for frustrated people who pay attention. Nothing really matters here and Salon editors of all people should know that. I'll vote for the candidate I like and so will you and nothing will really change my mind. I'm just happy people are passionate about their country and have the balls to stand up for their beliefs like W.E.S. and everyone else who posts here.

Salon is great for one thing I'll say, no website on the internet has the capacity to lock my computer up so completely as Salon!
