Original article: How Obama won Wisconsin

anon

the site you gave me is Obama's page. I am not talking about the tax record or the actual records of the Illinois house I am talking about his records that he said "I didn't keep" "I didn't have enough storage for all of those records" He also said that his memory of Rezko was 5 hours of legal work he did for a non-profit who was working with Rezko. now he says that he took Rezko to look at the house he owns in chicago suburb, before he bought it, and the seller only agreed to sell it to him if they closed on the house and the lot next to it"the one Rezko bought" at the same time. Why would an intelligent person ask a person that he had no personal contact with to advise him on the purchase of a house, expecially when that person was under investigation. In the state of Illinois we have Realtors that represent sellers and those that represent buyers and a buyers rep could have given him very good advice as to the value of the property he was interested in without asking for anything but a commission in return.

Obama Supporters

Why do Obama supporters assume that anyone asking questions about Obama is an upset Clinton supporter. It may be that we want answers not rhetoric. Then when they refer you to web sites it is either Obama's site where he runs off all the press that supports him, or they send you to places like the Huffington Post, CBS news, The Atlantic. Opinion pages that support Obama. Why not go to the actual pages where the bills are at, those that show his vote on bills, where they started and where they (the bills) ended. Call me stupid if that is as far as your thought process goes, but if a read a news article by someone I want to go back and see what their previous articles say, do they show a pattern, do they write glowing pieces on one candidate, and hit pieces on the other or do they give even handed news. That is the only way to know if they are campaigning for one candidate or are actually giving you the facts. Anyone who calls Obama a novice at politics doesn't know the facts. Politics is his game all the way back to his first campaign, even before that what do you think a community organizer does? serve meals to homeless people, help people pay their heating bills, no they use the political system.

Original article: McCain: Reformer or phony?

Joe

I am not a republican, nor a McCain supporter, I am just tired of a press that tries to manipulate an election instead of actually giving us facts and letting us intellegently with the facts make up our on minds. When it comes to the fcc of 9 years ago, Mr Podesta, clearly not a McCain supporter has stated that he ask Mr McCain to contact the fcc concerning his client, who was having financial problems and was a public broadcasting network, but Mr McCain did not do what was requested, and the deal that this article is about fell through. I have not had time to research the cruise line business, but I will. Bernanke if you "cannot recall the newspaper of record publishing a sleazy story ever before" then you were not reading the times in the 90's. Not a slimy sex story but equally as slanted was their stories before the Irag war. Hic3333= as I stated before the FBI "who are charged with investigating under oath lies by public officials" told me that it is not against the law unless done for monetary purposes, and will not even investigate unless proof of that is given to them. also: It is not outrage about" having an affair " by democrats, it is the hypocracy. When you have right wingers like Bay Buchanan making statements that the republicans have standards and they don't put up with this kind of behavior from their candidates.after covering for multiple republican office holders who have "misbehaved" in this manner.

Original article: A few debate thoughts

arrogance

anyone who didn't see this in Obama "not just last night" but throughout the campaign has 'tasted the koolaid. When he put himself up as not only being able to rule america but also mexico at the same time, what was that but arrogant? I realize they were in Texas and wanting the spanish vote, but why were they carring water for the illegal aliens? I do not believe that mexican americans who worked hard to become citizens of USA and work hard to lift up their families after becoming citizens like seeing public and private land being destroyed by people coming across the border. I also do not believe that after they came here for better paying jobs and a better life for their family they want someone else to take a shortcut and cause those wages to go down again. Nor would they want their property seized by the Texas government to build a highway "3 lengthwise football fields side by side" so mexican trucks can drive all the way thru the state now and all the way to Canada later.
