They've been using the exact same talking points about how we're losing in Iraq since before we invaded.
That's right, you hateful she-beast... not "liberated," INVADED.
It seems they've finally succeeded in exhausting Americans and, thereby, handing a victory to al-Qaida.
To suggest that the INVASION has been a catastrophic mess because liberals correctly predicted it would be is to suggest that merely saying something makes it so. If that's the case, saying "Mission Accomplished" should have taken care of everything.
I could look out my window right now and insist it's going to rain, but that won't make it rain. And if it does rain, that doesn't mean I "succeeded" in making it rain. Nor does it make me to blame for the rain.
She's just so childish. We "exhausted" Americans, and that's why al Qaeda (there's that sneaky "Iraqis are al Qaeda" thing again...) has "won." It has nothing to do with a shaky premise based on untruths, poor planning, haphazard implementation, ill-equipped troops, a tenuous grasp on reality and lack of any exit strategy whatsoever. Of course not. This war has been an utter failure because the liberals "exhausted" Americans; Americans who had no hands-on presence in the war to begin with. Yeah, whatever.
She reminds me of sports fans who insist their team lost because the other team cheated and bribed the refs.
...you should probably watch it first.
She can try to do like Carrie Bradshaw and have sex like a man, without attachment, or she can try to hold on to the man.
That wasn't Carrie. That was Samantha. Carrie had--and wanted--attachments and relationships. And she definitely tried to hold on to the man, often to her own detriment.
This woman's choice of celibacy isn't a problem for me in the least. But her judgmental, "my religion should be the basis of your life or you're a crapwhore" snobbery is.
Speak for yourself. Divorce is not "always bad for the children." My father was an abusive, criminal loser. The best thing that ever happened to us was divorce. Heaven only knows where we'd be today if that man had stayed in our lives. Probably in therapy or rehab.
It was hard to get through all of your sanctimonious rant, but one thing was abundantly clear--you think marriage is the be-all and end-all, and two parents who can't stand each other staying together anyway is better for kids than divorce. Think again. If parents are bitter and angry, it's better that they split up than continue to pass that on to their kids every day. If they can possibly find happiness with someone else, the kids are way better off than witnessing hatred, abuse and adultery between their parents.
Believed it then, still believe it now. This man should be president. Intelligence, experience and integrity. Works for me.
But please, Democrats... if you can POSSIBLY manage it (which I doubt), don't waste valuable time and resources AGAIN with another 10-candidate field. I want to see a more efficient, cohesive, COHERENT campaign this time. Not the ridiculous mess we had in 2004. Millions of hours, and more millions of dollars, were wasted. Try to learn from your mistakes for a change.
Dr. Dean, I expect you to deal with this. And I have all the confidence in the world that you can.
Biiiiiiig difference between one threesome and "an orgy phase." Really bad analogy. The girl did something ONCE. She's not an addict.
It's not the fact that the BF doesn't like threesomes that makes him a jerk. It's his systematic devaluation of his GF. Rather than keeping her around and treating her badly if he has a problem with her "morality," he should just be straight with her that he'll never be able to see her the same way again and let her go. Stop sadistically stringing her along and punishing her for being a whore (his opinion, not mine). THAT's the jerk part.
Cut the "typical feminist anger" crap. It's really getting old. The woman is being emotionally abused and disrespected. You don't have to be an "angry feminist" to see that. Why is it whenever the man is in the wrong and a woman points that out, all you neanderthals crawl out of your caves to say we're all angry feminists? As if the guy isn't really wrong, we just think he is because we hate all men. That's YOUR issue, dude. Don't dump it on me. I love YOUR typical misdirected macho anger. I don't hate men at all. I DO hate a**hole men, though.
As for your other question, what's hypocritical is saying homosexuality is sick, depraved, disgusting and wrong... but still lovin' you some girl-on-girl. Same-sex is same-sex. You can't say male homosexuality is disgusting and female homosexuality is hot. THAT is hypocritical. Either homosexuality is wrong or it's not. Pick a lane.
These are the guys who feel SHE shouldn't be in a threesome because it's disgusting, but wouldn't say no to a threesome themselves. In other words, hypocrites.
You can defend this jerk all you want, and insult the rest of us in the process. I hope you never have a daughter, if your default setting is "any woman who thinks a man is wrong about something is a psycho feminist dyke." Because if she ever comes to you and says "daddy, he hurt me..." you'll probably tell her to put down the protest sign, shave her pits and be thankful a man wants her at all. Ugh.
