Land of Good Government

I'd like to see these "talking heads" come up here, to Minnesota, and repeat their lies about the recount process. They'd likely get a fist to the mouth, when they started talking that BS. This isn't Florida or Ohio. This is the land of good government, where the people expect honest service from their elected officials. Mark Richie knows that he'd needs to play it straight if he wants a political future in Minnesota.

Nobody's lovin Norm Coleman, at this point, precisely because they see the lawsuit as something that isn't in Minnesota's best interest. His political future dims everyday this goes on. He may have to move back to Boston, after it's all said and done.

slippery slug

Norm will crawl into whatever legal crack he can to avoid the inevitable. In the meantime, Minnesota is without full representation in a time of national crisis. Think of the chorus who would be calling for upstart Al, if he were in this situation. Norm needs to do what Senator's are supposed to do, which is looking out for the best interest of their constitutents and ceding to Al Frankin. Don't hold your breath, though.

Wingnut County

I'm embarrassed to say that I live in the same state as this women. A congresswoman who gets all her info from Fox and wingnut radio, really demeans the title. Unfortantely, her district includes some of the most wacky conservative county's in the country. Stearns County being the wackiest. They are all drinking the same Cool-Aid and consider her a hero for repeating what other alternate reality wingnuts are pimping.

of Modesty

I'll take half her modest salary. Always interesting how journalist can shade things so far off reality and sound good doing it.

Sorry Folks

If you had watched the movie Fargo, you know that we do have a few klinkers out der, oh yah, you betcha!

Ah, Bachmann!

I think Michelle must be a product of Stearns County Syndrome. It's one of the county's in her district that has gotten the reputation for inbreeding. She shows definate signs it. I don't know what Karl and Bill's excuses are. What county's are they from?

Right-wing Rhetoric Feeds Potential Violence

Is it any wonder that when you all these politicians and talking heads, saying the sky is falling, somebody might decide to take matters into their own hands. Unfortunately, we don't have too many in the media pointing out that the statements of people like congresswomen Michelle Bachmann are pure paranoid fantasy. Instead they have acted as a bullhorn for the chicken little brigades notion that we are being overun by godless commies and other boogymen. They are very smart to be taking a serious look into this type of reaction. Too bad we have a media that loves crazy talk.

What a Phony!

"It's about the Constitution and equal protection..." Since when has Norm or the GOP, cared about equal protection. They hated it until it allowed them to grab power in 2000. It must be tough sitting there repeating such a weak argument as if it's devinely inspired.

Norm, you have a losing hand. 63% of US in Minnesota are ready for you to do the right thing, and concede. Pawlenty's got to getting worried. I wonder if he's got your back for the Federal case?

ps. No one's buying your sudden religousity either.

Original article: Rick Santorum, love doctor

Mind Your Own Business

I guess that once you have done it often enough, you don't even realize how much of a hypocrite you are. Like Mr. Santorum spends all his time at the local bar with his wife. Come on! Most guys who do that on a regular basis aren't married for long. Women liked to be impressed. I'm betting that most of these talking heads who are complaining about Obama's date, were at the same restaurant with their mistress the week before. These guys are really scrapping the barrel. Almost sad to see how far the GOP has fallen...almost! Lol

$94,000???

He should owe Minnesotan's much more than $94,000, with his foot dragging, sore loser spectacle. And I think he'll be paying that bill for years to come. His political career is shot in Minnesota. Better pack his carperbagger bags and head back to Boston.

Instead of governing... he'll travel the country... Lol

Very funny! That assumes Pawlenty has been governing for the last 6 years. High handing tactics like his unilaterally cutting the state budget, because he couldn't taint his presidential bid by raising taxes on the wealthiest Minnesotan's does count as governing. I think we'd be better off if he does take his sabatical to travel the country looking for some other state to not govern.

I'm Done with WaPo

I'll get as much useful info from the Weekly Standard or Faux Newz, which is less than zero. I hope Obama success sinks these bottom feeders.

Wrong Man

Yes, Roberts was right. Ronnie should have totally dumped Jackson for Prince. Purple Reign!

$12 Million Later...

The local media bought Norm's concession speech, hook, line and sinker. What a gracious man! WTF! The day after the election, when he was ahead by 250, he said that if he were behind, he would save the state a lot of time and money concede. 8 months later and the guys a hero for doing something he said he would do a long time ago.

The People on Minnesota Didn't Elect MB

The people in her district, who live in Minnesota, voted her in. She couldn't get a table at a restaurant if she came to Minneapolis.

If you've had any experience with her district, you would know that it's wingnut central. It goes from the the Twin Cities, north suburbs up through St. Cloud. St. Cloud is in it's own little world of wingnuttery. They hear her dog whistle, believe me. Fortunately, redistricting will be coming up soon and if we can get a Democratic gov to go with the Democratic legislature, she may find a little more diversity in her district.

Todd's Stupid?

Or maybe all her concern about it, points to the opposite. That Todd was really into the sessession movement, until his wife started doing well in politics. How can she sleep with an America-Hater? Once an America-Hater, always and America-Hater!
