joan walsh subject obama

it never ceases to amaze me that these anti-obama people overlook completely the many flip flops of mccain. republicans in general and mccain always get a pass. the negatives about mccain if transferred to obama would not have gotten him the nomination or if he had been nominated he would not win, such as the lobbyist woman, etc. remember the infamous chelsea clinton cruel joke "this is why chelsea clinton is so ugly because janet reno is her fatherhaha!" could you imagine if obama had said it? mymy!or he had called his wife a c--t?chelsea was a young girl at the time, didn't ask to be put in the public eye poor janet reno

Re: obama chose to attract minority candidates

obama was not chosen to get minorities, democratic candidates usually get them, obama ran as an alternative to hillary for those who felt her negatives were too high

bristol palin's pregnancy

i don't believe the poster was attacking bristol at all. it's necessary to mention it in passing because she had stressed abstinence education as the answer to teenage pregnancy she is a public figure, whether she likes it or not gone are the days of the 30s where loretta young, pregnant with clark gable's child could hide out in a house 30 or 40 miles away or whatever, take the child to an orphange, then pretend to adopt her, can't get bye with that today!!!!!!!!

civil rights legislation rf clark

th is is for rf clark, and the statement that the civil rights legislation passed with republican votes, there is one reason for this and i was around then. southerners were still democrats then, republicans were more liberal then, so that's why. instead separate into liberal and conservative labels, not many conservatives supported it. the republican party was not the party of today.
