@ asher

Yes, I agree with you, Obama does himself no service by such a transparent lie. But that is the nuanced and informed viewpoint. Sadly elections are not decided on nuance, you are either with us or agin us.

It's sad to see Obama cross that Rubicon.

@ Professor Holstein

Thanks. Glad to see you have no arguments left. (or don't want to waste them on somebody without your credentials)

Quite the fantasy you have going there about my appearance. And no, I won't have sex with you.

And still they lie.

In defense of Aych

Yes, he talks about the stupid bankrupt war on drugs a lot, but often as part of an on topic post. And even when he is off topic, by his lights, he is on topic, as he believes that much of the madness facing us is a product of the War on Drugs. I agree with him on that, used to be America went to war with countries, nowadays, it's concepts. War on Terror, meet your grandfather, the War on Drugs.

And if you don't want to read him or talk to him. Well don't.

@ aych Politicians and the lies they tell

"Unless and until liberal Democratic politicians start standing up and telling the truth things will never change for the better. Obama has proven to be a huge disappointment to me since I know full well that he knows the truth and yet he will not speak it.

Just as he will not speak the truth about his pastor."

Yes, I am sure that Obama as former doper, (good for him) knows that an egg in a frying pan is NOT your brain. But seriously, even if he said, "As President, I will strike a bi-partisan committee to consider legalizing marijuana." he not only would not get elected, he'd be gone, just like Gary Hart. Remember him? There are many red lines that cannot be crossed in America, one of them is the truth about "drugs".

America is a myth, always has been, attacking that myth is unthinkable, taboo, anathema. As you well know, half the bastards demanding tougher drug laws are smoking in the washroom. They just can't say so.

Maybe someday.

This is what reasoned discourse looks like?

Multi-paragraph, closely reasoned arguments from the truthers...with facts and links.

And from the opposition?

@ mattawas

Understanding "military matters"? WTF? America was under attack and you tell me it was bureaucratic matter? Do you really believe that?

And even if Langley is your AFB of choice - it is only 150 miles from DC - at Mach 1.6 it would take about 6 minutes to get to Washington. Same question. Where were the interceptors? They had well over an hour. And do you really believe that when the commandant at Andrews got the call, "America is under attack!", he said, "Sorry, not my sector, you will have to fill out a 532a form in triplicate, and fax it to me?" That's astounding.

What about the air defenses at the Pentagon. Why were they not activated?

And aren't you the guy who thinks that that a 707 and a 757 are hugely different in size? Yeah, you are. They are not - as my table showed. And I am still waiting for you, with your astounding grasp of the facts, to explain your statement that aviation fuel, circa 2001 is more "powerful and explosive" (is that a scienterrific term?) than av fuel circa 1966.

As for Israel I did not say Mossad did the job, simply that they were there, and were celebrating. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/fiveisraelis.html

Try reading the link and perhaps your posts will be a little more informed brother, as, at the moment, I see the angry ravings of somone, who obviously has done, at best, a few hours research on the subject, which, as others have pointed out is enormously complex and not accessible to a casual perusal, especially by someone who is as low functioning as yourself.

I said the war was for oil, empire and Israel. You focussed on how Israel benefited and then you immediately segued, like a fool and bigot, in calling me an anti-Semite. Thanks!

Criticism of Israel, is NOT anti-Semitism. Why do you confuse the two?

And as to how this benefited Israel, here is what Binyamin "Bibi" Netanyahu said. (you've heard of him right?) "It's very good…….Well, it's not good, but it will generate immediate sympathy (for Israel)".

Since then, using that sympathy and the numerous precedents set by America, Israel has erected the Apartheid wall (illegally) expanded its "settlements", walled in Gaza, illegally attacked Lebanon, killing several thousand civilians in the process, bombed Syria, etc etc. All of this without a word or whimper from America, because they do, and have done the same things themselves.

What is a "troofer" anyway? Do you mean "truther"? Seriously you should learn to spell. Or is just a juvenile name calling thing? Either way you do yourself no credit.

If you have specific arguments that negate some the theories as proposed by Prof. Jones, or Dr. Griffin, I would be glad to address them. If you want continue with the name calling and the specious nonsense about "more powerful and explosive" av gas, well, like most of the people on this thread, I will just ignore you as you clearly have nothing of value to add to the discussion.
