What exactly is so ridiculous about conspiracy theories anyway? A conspiracy is just a plan, a secret plan to commit a criminal offense. Is it your contention that governments do not plan? Or is it just that they don't plan to commit criminal offenses such as the Watergate break in, the bombing of Laos and Cambodia, or perhaps the illegal wire taping of Americans? Was Project Northwoods not a conspiracy? Perhaps you contend that these things just happened without any planning at all, or that they were legal? As many have pointed out the official version about evil Arabs with box cutters is a giant interlocking conspiracy theory - a theory that has, as we all should know, a very large number of problems in it's narrative. For instance could you perhaps explain how Bin Laden knew that most of the interceptors in America would be scattered to the corners of the empire on that day? Jesus he even knew that the interceptors at Andrews AFB, 13 miles from the Pentagon would not be able to launch a single plane with only 1 hours warning. And he knew the SAMs the Pentagon were not going to work!
So Julie thinks that thermate is an explosive. It's not, you are correct. She should have said thermate. Traces of thermate were found. How did did they get there? Melted iron was found. Kerosene, and or office furniture, will never, could never, melt iron. Where did this come from?
As for the laws of physics. All of the towers fell at or near free fall. Credulous apologists for the conspirators tell us that this is normal because of all the energy involved in the collapse. If I had dropped a bowling ball from the roof at moment of collapse it would have hit the ground at the same time as the roof of the building. In other words the floors below offered no resistance to the collapse. This is impossible. This violates the laws of physics.
As for ondelette's post on the self righting tower. An object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by some outside force. What force could accomplished this feat? The light latticework of floors twisting around would hardly been capable of shifting the thousands of tonnes of the upper floors. As anyone knows who has cut down a tree, it will fall in the direction the cut, following the path of least resistance, the upper floors of the south tower were tilting, then miraculously righted themselves! Lots of good vid on this, have a look around.
Then there is the matter of the dust. There was insufficient energy in the system to vapourize that amount of material. If you look at videos and examine interviews of those who cleaned up the site you will see that much of the buildings was pulverized.
The collapse of WTC 7, never hit by a plane, which had only light fires, was so in violation of any normal pattern of collapse that to this day there is no "official" explanation of its collapse.
Please remember that the 911 commission states that both towers fell as a result of the ensuing fires. No steel framed building in history has collapsed as a result of fire, and none has since.
And finally why are you so hostile? It's not like we said you did it. Or did you? LOL

Don't give up. This is par for the course, the attack dogs are everywhere. Some want to support "their" president, some are paid, some really do have trouble accepting the fact that there was a coup in America on Sept 11 and understandably have trouble accepting that. It is rather difficult of course, to "explain everything" considering that much of the evidence was destroyed, never collected or hidden away.
There is hope, things are changing. I have been on this case since day one; when I wondered where the hell the interceptors were. After all America has the largest military in the world, with 10's of thousands of combat aircraft - and thats' in the navy. When I first start posting on this topic way back when Bush had killed only a few thousand people, I was almost universally attacked whenever and wherever I posted - and that was on the LIBERAL sites! Nowadays you will find that you have many friends. Ignore the small minded and the stupid, debate the honest doubters, and never ever stop speaking the truth.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]This is hardly a fair comparison. I was referring, as I said, to steel framed buildings. In your toilet paper factory pictures I see brick support columns and what looks like a galvanized roof. I would say it's a pretty shitty example.
A better comparison would be the Madrid fire a 32 story steel framed building that burned for over 24 hours and did not collapse.
