Pancho and NRI1959 Couldn’t Be More Correct

”60 votes be damned we only need 51. You tried, You failed, now go away!

EXACTLY!

Want a vivid illustration of what the hell is going on with this issue? Just take a look at the mind-numbing letters of Dianeremarx and SoberInput, and contemplate that these are the jabbering mental patients on whose behalf Obama is – as always – more than happy to fuck his progressive base up the ass.

This whole “bipartisanship,” “filibuster-proof majority” bullshit is just the latest political hustle from the aggregation of craven opportunists known as the Democratic Party. I mean, seriously, can you even imagine a single vote where at least three or four greasy Blue Dog rats like Ben Nelson wouldn’t scamper over to their Republican friends fast enough to make your fucking head spin? Guess what: the Republicans didn’t need 60 votes to get legislation passed when they were in the majority, and neither do the Democrats. What they do need is some goddamn party discipline and leadership that will wage total war against the Republican Party in every single instance of legislative obstructionism. Not one more Republican filibuster until Mitch McConnell and Lindsay Graham are gasping in agony on the Senate floor coughing up blood.

Pancho is right: fuck this 60-vote garbage. There is precisely one thing scheming, self-serving political whores like the Democrats understand: the stark, naked terror of losing their power and station. Accordingly, what we need to do is make Obama and the rest of the Democrats face the brutally stark choice of going to war against their progressive base or the Republican Party. The best way I can think of to do that is to pool our resources together and bring about the political eradication of Harry Reid, even if it means installing a Republican in his place. We need to demonstrate our complete independence from the Democratic Party, and, believe me, there is simply no more effective way of putting the fear of God into the Blue Dogs than making themn think they might be next.

Finally, there is Jesse Covner’s claim that

to change health care in the US means changing many aspects of our society. And this needs broad support from everyone, including republicans and the AMA.”

Quite simply, there is no historical basis whatever for that claim. Social Security, school integration, Medicare, the Voting Rights Act; every one of these fundamental legislative accomplishments took place not with the cooperation of the Republican right, but by cramming them right down their goddamn throats. And if Obama remains too arrogant and stubborn to recognize that fact, then we need to teach him.

Fuck Obama; He Deserves to Eat Every Single Nugget of Shit He Has to Swallow Over this Incident

Here’s the only truly salient question at issue in this “scandal”: What the fuck is anyone associated with the degenerate Federalist Society doing serving in a Democratic administration? An absolutely essential reason vast numbers of progressives worked their asses off getting Obama elected was not only to drive every Federalist Society rat from the city of Washington, but to at least attempt to extirpate their destructive influence from the face of the Earth. Then again, who knows; maybe if Obama crawls on his belly and kisses some more rightwing ass while pissing in the face of progressives, the Republican Party will stop calling him a Commie and trying to destroy American democracy.

Want to have a look at the typical mindless Republican zombie Obama is trying to appeal to, the kind of jabbering mental patient who would wither and die within 10 minutes were someone to disconnect the feeding tube between his lips and Rush Limbaugh’s ass? Just take a look at the letters of SoberInput, and see what happens to the human brain when it has never been exposed to a single piece of information that wasn’t absorbed directly from the toilet of Republican talk radio.

Is there ANY DOUBT WHATEVER that Obama the Greasy Rat Is Going To Cave?

Well, I guess this will at least come in handy for a renewal of the "Just-Wait-Until-We-Get-A-Filibuster-Proof-Ninety-Democrats-In-The-Senate" argument. Of course, the the Democrats only need 51 goddamn votes to pass health care reform, but that has been "taken off the table" by Obama without explicit Republican approval, since they have been given veto power over every important legislative initiative in the name of bipartisanship.

Maybe the Republicans will stop trying to destroy the country if Obama just kisses a little more ass.

Cestmoi123: The Perfect Expression of Republicanism

I've never encountered a more perfect manifestation of the political ideology of Republicanism than Cestmoi123's observation about why the American healthcare system is just dandy the way it is:

A lot of people in the US are genuinely happy with the health coverage and care they have, myself included.

In other words, "It's good for me, so fuck everyone else."

SoberInput, It’s Absolutely Not Too Late For Your Mother To Have An Abortion

Kindly let your mother know I’ll be more than happy to contribute $1,000 to this worthy cause (including the fee for the procedure itself, and a little “thank you” bonus on the side). Please believe me, your mother will never enjoy a greater opportunity to contribute to the welfare of hunanity than by correcting the tragic mistake of having afflicted the world with your presence in it.

There's One Word That Explains The Sarah Palin Phenomenon In - Its Entirety

It rhymes with "Punt."

And it's starts with "C."

And it's pronounced "Cunt."

What Makes Palin A "Bad Example To Her Kids" Is That She's A Loathsome Human Being

Let's make no mistake about it; "Big Pig" is as bad an example to her kids -- and, indeed, to children the world over -- as exists anywhere on the face of the earth. That circumstance has less to do with the fact that she's decided to quit playing governor, however, than the fact that -- morally, intellectually, and aesthetically -- she bears a far greater resemblance to a farm animal than she does to a human being.
