Only A Tiny Fringe of Hillary Supporters Are Threatening To Vote for McCain

Eusebius says:

Hillary’s activists and donors are for the most part independent thinkers who make their own decisions in regards to voting, campaign donations and participation. She has absolutely no control over them.

I couldn’t agree more. And just like the rest of us who preferred another candidate to Obama (and, indeed, who have no particular fondness for him even now), the vast majority of Hillary supporters are simply going to swallow their disappointment and vote for Obama to avoid the horror of placing another Republican baboon in the White House.

Then, of course, there is the whining, self-absorbed fringe of Hillary supporters that maintains a relentless pitch of petulant, irrational demands like a five-year-old having a temper tantrum. Let’s just call them Hillary’s Halfwits. Here’s how you can identify them: they can’t articulate a single substantive political objective or principle that distinguishes Obama from Hillary (much less conceivably justifies voting for McCain), but mindlessly blather on about the importance of validating their tender feelings. Their criticisms of Obama are parrot-like repetitions of idiot smears taken directly from the toilet of Republican talk radio: his lack of patriotism, his relationship with Jeremiah Wright, his Muslim name, his supposed lack of experience (all, of course, speaking to the issue of “electability”). Some geniuses manage to rationalize holding him accountable for the phenomenon of pervasive media sexism, offering their absolution if he prostrates himself with a major address on gender. (Funny, though; McCain has no comparable need to kiss their ass with respect to gender, despite calling his wife a cunt in public.)

It’s really time for the Hillary Halfwits to accept the fact that they just don’t goddamn matter; no one gives a shit what they believe, what they care about, who they intend to vote for. Anyone who claims to support Hillary Clinton’s values yet plans to vote for McCain over Obama is no better than the Republican filth whose greatest aspiration is to wear a pair of Rush Limpbone’s shit-stained underwear on their heads. Thank God Hillary’s Halfwits are simply too few in number to make a damn bit of difference. Keep whining, keep threatening, keep bellyaching ‘till the cows come home; you may as well make the very most of the last few moments anyone gives a rat’s ass what you do.

There's No Real Need, With Lumps of Shit Like Cat v. Roomba Around

There undoubtedly should be at least modestly more focus on Bush, but there’s also some legitimacy to the claim that it’s not strictly all that necessary. After all, there’s no possibility of having a political discussion in the United States without greasy lumps of shit like Cat vs. Roomba floating to the top of the bowl, and their constant reminder of the congealed cesspool of human filth that constitutes the Republican base.

The Usual Bullshit From KateTex

In a decent world, loss and suffering do not constitute political pawns, they are not partisan.

Quite so. But in a decent world, the political process isn't deformed by the presence of Republicans - or you.

Original article: It's Giuliani time

Maybe the DLC-Types Can Try Not To Kiss His Ass Too Much

Here's hoping there's somebody in the Democratic Party who can keep Michael Lind and the other DLC rats who've been spending way too much time around here from kissing Giuliani's ass and announcing what a great patriot he is; somebody who recognizes that Giuliani is a loathsome fascist scumbag, is barely less detested than Bush by every sentient human being in the United States, and that the only appropriate way to deal with him is to attack him immediately, viciously and relentlessly until the blessed night finally arrives when he no longer rises from his coffin.

I Finally Realize Why Readers Are So Tired of This Relentless Concern Bullshit

Try not to be quite so sad, or to keep worrying about how "troublesome" this crap is likely to be. It won't. Did you really think there was a single anti-abortion freak in the United States that was thinking of voting for anyone but the Pig-in-Lipstick before this "story" came out? There wasn't. What Obama should be doing is spending way less time worrying about how greasy lumps of shit like Kufir are going to vote, and way more time trumpeting the fact that the Pig wants to force incest and rape victims to bear their rapists babies.
