The question as to whether women can get more out of men through the essences emanating from their ovulation, would be to see how women's ovulation affected men. Several studies have been conducted and have shown that women react differently to men while they are ovulating, but I can't find a study that shows that men react differently to women that are ovulating than to those that are not. personally I can say that I have never been aware of the fact that a woman was ovulating unless she told me so, and I have been married to a woman for 8 years, and have been in serious relationships with women for almost every day of my life since I turned 19.
However, it has always been very clear to me whenever a woman in my life was on her period (I could show you all the scars). There might be something to the argument that women are more enthusiastic while ovulating, but I would think it would be the enthusiasm that men were reacting to, not the ovulation.
It is even possible for a man to consciously or unconsciously sense if a woman is ovulating? If so, how?
Going back to the study of evolutionary psychology, a lot of our humanity stems from the clitoris, as human and dolphins are the only animals that have sex recreationally. Lucy (the evolutionists' Eve) was different from the other women of her time, in that she walked more upright, but also because she gave birth to less developed offspring that had to learn to walk in a year's time. Lucy needed to keep her caveman near her while she cared for her infant that could not walk, and she must have done this by offering him sex even while she was not ovulating and while she was pregnant. Her clitoris allowed her to be enthusiastic about sex at all times, and thus she could keep her caveman near her at all times, because he knew he could always get some. Therefore it was a human woman's sexual enthusiasm (attributed to her clitoris) that had ensured the survival of upright walking toddlers, not ovulation.
So men, the next time your face come close to a clitoris, thank it for its help in developing humanity.
Rudy, Mitt, Fred and John Oh My!
Rudy, Mitt, Fred and John Oh My!
Or should we be scared?
The obvious conclusion of the Republican field for 08 is that the Reagan-Bush Dynasty is over. Rudy, Mitt, Fred and John don't inspire the kind of passion that Reagan did, and they can't claim to be Reagan's past sidekick. In other words Rudy, Mitt, Fred and John are their own men and none of them is ReaganChrist or his successor. Their only hope at victory is to convince voters to hate Senator Clinton and the other Democratic candidates, just because...
But when you match up Rudy, Mitt, Fred, or John against Senator Clinton, those guys not only lack the ability to inspire passion, but also the ability to look less worse Senator Clinton ever could.
In order to look good to the Republican base, a Republican candidate has to obtain the attraction of; the privatize everything, deregulate everything, pro-corporation, political conservatives; the anti-choice, homophobic, Earth-is-only-6,000-years-old, abstinence only, married only once, "true" Christian rightys; the militarize our southern boarder, hate all emigrants, nativists; and the absolutely no taxes for anything libertarians, all at the same time.
Ghouly, slow, lazy, southern draw Fred it already at odds with the Christian rightys, which will make it hard for him to get the support of GOP regulars, and his clueless stance of any question asked of him turns off political conservatives that want the president to show strength (instead of the "I'm not an expert" routine that has come to optimize the Dubya administration), so it is doubtful that the unaffiliated moderate voters would choose him over Hillary Clinton who is a sharp witted, tried and proven, leader.
MaCain has put himself at odds with both nativists and Christian Rightys, Rudy has put himself even more so at odds with those 2 groups, and Mitt is going to lose heavy support among the "true" Christians (because as a Mormon he is not a true Christian), and the political conservatives (because he flip flops more than anybody), so looking less horrible to unaffiliated moderates than Senator Clinton could, will be an extra difficult task for all three of them.
Looking at Rudy, Mitt, Fred, and John, will make unaffiliated moderates wonder, "is Senator Clinton all that bad?" And then they will decide that they are not going to hate her, just because... Because there is no reason to really hate Senator Clinton. Her life is literally an open book, we know everything about her, she's tough and tenacious, she understands global geopolitics inside and out, we miss her husband (who is trying to save the world without using tax dollar through the CGI), we want a timetable to redeploy troops out of Iraq, and we want another chance to see if we can get a Universal Health Care Plan passed.
But even if the nominee is not Senator Clinton, all the other Democratic candidates will likewise have no problem inspiring passion in the Democratic base and looking better than Rudy, Mitt, Fred, and/or John!!!
