"BTW, I love garden gnomes. They help the flowers grow."
Thanks AKA Smith. Yeah, me and my male garden gnome ilk seem to have a pretty good success rate in extremely sexual long term relationships.
Sorry about that error strewn letter I posted, but as usual I was in a hurry to get it out, so I hit publish before preview.
One question though; does "you're beautiful," mean the same thing as "I find you sexually attractive?"
My answer; I guess it depends on the individual, but I have found that the more interesting people know the difference between those 2 phrases.
"So, I won't rob you, if you voluntarily give me your wallet. And the fact that my companion here has just beaten you to the ground is in no way relevant to your decision."
Excellent point.
My guess is that the initial jury found Maouloud Baby guilty of rape for reasons more than that he stayed in for 5 to 10 second after she said "stop."
However, the court of appeals used the 5 to 10 second persecution to overturn Maouloud Baby's conviction, and then they came up with complete mis-justice when they wrote, "if she consents prior to penetration and withdraws the consent following penetration, there is no rape."
According to that remark a woman would have no choice but to risk getting pregnant, if she suddenly realized during intercourse that she had forgotten her to take her pill that day, because the condomless guy could ignore her plea to stop if he wanted to.
"If people cannot find what is valuable inside, then they will be running on empty all their lives. Botox, facelifts, boob enhancements can only do so much."
AKA Smith, I see your point, but I don't see a problem with women spending their money to feel better about themselves, as long as they are getting the expensive plastic surgery to make themselves feel better, and not their boyfriends or husbands. Whenever my female coworkers come to me and tell me (not ask me) "I am getting a boob job," I always give them my full support. If you have the money, spend it however you want (unless of course you have children who have more pressing needs than you do), but do it for yourself and not for some guy.
On a side note; most of the women I know who got breast work, got breast reductions so that they could work out, walk around, and dance at the clubs more comfortably (but that kind of surgery is not consider cosmetic).
Erdogan's suggest for constitutional word changing is odd and hard to understand, but basically it says to women "you have to assume a less than equal role in society to men, because you need to be protected." I may be wrong, but it looks like the word "equal" is stripped from Erdogan's wording at together. But what's most disturbing is that his wording does not state how women need to be protected. Does he want to protect the women of Turkey in the same way that the Turks protected the Armenians during WW1? With all the holocaust museums in the world, it's a shame that there is still not a holocaust museum built to give the story of the Holocaust that the Turks inflicted upon the Armenians, but I am digressing.
I am 100% in favor of you getting your grant to study strippers/sex workers/erotic dancers, because you seem to have an actual appreciation for the industry (a healthy one I believe), and because after reading Geoffrey Miller's study I am convinced that even a monkey with a typewriter could have provided more insight and thought than he did.
Aside from doing statistics on tips and the time of a woman cycle, he offers very little. He did no interviews of strippers and their customers, did no investigation what-so-ever into the industry, and based his conclusions entirely off of his own opinions.
Jonathan, you appear to like strippers/sex workers/erotic dancers, and it appears that you would have no problem mingling with their customers.
Go for it Jonathan, give us some true insight in the industry, because Geoffrey Miller did not.
Geoffrey Miller's study seems to focus on a woman's cycle, and nothing else. The reason why a female stripper would earn less in tips during her period is obvious, blood marks on a man's jeans isn't going to earn much tips. So the real meat of the study was that, according to Geoffrey Miller's statistics, women erotic dancers earn $70 and hour while ovulating, and only $50 an hour in the days between menstruation and ovulation. Why the 20 dollar difference?
However I suspect, and this is only my suspicion, that Geoffrey Miller attributed ovulation only as the middle day between periods.
Here's my question; is the increase in tips earned on the days of ovulation a spike, or part of a bell curve with the top of the bell curve falling on the middle day between periods? If it's a smooth bell curve, then Geoffrey Miller's study really proves nothing, other than that a female stripper's enthusiasm for her job rises and falls between periods. Doesn't every woman's enthusiasm for her job rise and fall between periods?
