To Ghingis Can
[Read the article: Bringin' home the bacon, but no boyfriend]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Actually since my salary is paid by the federal government, you have in fact been pulling my ass along, assuming that you pay taxes. But my ass has been giving you national defense for the past 12 years, assuming that you are an American. Since you don't want to pull my ass along anymore, I guess that means you don't want to pull the asses of all those fine Americans fighting to protect your country as well. So is it okay if we give that message to congress, and tell them to stop funding Bush's war?
I would much rather pay 10 billion dollar a week on a National Universal Health Care Plan than on the quagmire that is Iraq.
To Leftychris. If we can give Universal Health Care to all Americans, great, but I will be willing to settle for Universal Health Care for mothers and children, if that's the compromise we have to accept.
Ghingis Can doesn't have to kill himself to extract himself from the human race. He can simply declare himself no longer human, and thus no longer entitled to the rights afforded to him within the constitution.

Stalking doesn't make you a man!!!
[Read the article: Bringin' home the bacon, but no boyfriend]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Brightstar65, you whine here at Broadsheet more than anybody else. Now you want back your rights to stalk women???
People like you are pathetic; "my ex f*cked me in the divorce proceeding," "I had to pay taxes to support mothers and children," "I lost my libido, because I felt intimidated by the pretty lady's wealth and professionalism," it's not fair that I have to face rape charges because I stuck my penis into an incoherently drunk woman," "the laws prevent me from stalking women."
This is why I call you guys disgrace to men characters, because your whining make the rest of us real men look bad. And then you tell me to grow up???
I work for a living, I put food on the table for my wife and 2 kids. I'm a real man, I fought for everything I have, and it makes sick to hear how the USA is unfair to you disgrace to men characters.
Here's an idea for you guys; go outside meet some women, be nice them, marry one, raise a family, pay your taxes, contribute to you communities, and present yourselves as a model citizens, instead of the pathetic whiners that you all are (however if you're gay substitute the word women for men).

Small correction!

To Leftychris
[Read the article: Bringin' home the bacon, but no boyfriend]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Ghingis Can is doing a pretty good job of declaring himself inhuman.
I favor Universal health care at least for mothers and children, for the same reason that I support WIC. The health of the child depends heavily on the health of mother. But I am with you, I want Universal Health Care for all, but I am willing to compromise in the short term. Universal Health Care isn't going to come all at once, but over time, and with a few compromises along the way, we can get it for all.
To Ghingis Can
No Medals of Honors, but I do have the Good Conduct Medal with several stars, the Humanitarian Service Medal, The National Defense Medal, the Global War On Terrorism Medal, the Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon with several stars, and the Overseas Deployment Ribbon with several stars.

Violence
[Read the article: Bringin' home the bacon, but no boyfriend]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Do you find it easier to slip into that frame of mind due to your military training and experience? Is there a connection that merits exploration?"
I won't deny that you might be on to something there. I have argued that it needs to be explored.
"I expect specific citations and references, please."
Do your own research on Buddhism, I'm not going to make it easy for you. How much do you really want to be a Buddhist? I will be happy to help you, but not through letters to salon.
"By criticizing some feminist ideas and figures and bitching about paying taxes?"
If GC wants to disrupt the advancement of society or the protection of future generations by withholding his taxes, yeah I consider that inhuman behavior. Anything that is the opposite of humane is inhuman behavior, and if someone exhibits too much inhuman behavior, then they are be default declaring themselves inhuman.

I almost forgot
[Read the article: Bringin' home the bacon, but no boyfriend]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Why would you still exclude fathers from coverage that is guaranteed to mothers?"
Why does WIC exclude fathers? OK, I'll amend what I wrote; lets make it mothers, children, and fathers that can prove that they are either the primary care giver or a single parent with custody. But yeah, I would rather have Universal Health Care for all.

Thanks Leftychris
[Read the article: Poland's female politicos disrobe]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You're right, I had forgotten about gay male porn, as I know little about it. 46%, really? That is an impressive figure. I guess I have been going to the wrong video stores. I would argue that gay men should take over the gay male porn/erotica industry, and use it as a political tool to promote gay male issues (I guess in a way they have).
You would find little argument that Larry Flynt doesn't act in political interests quite often (as David Vitter will tell you), and you would find even less argument that he isn't extremely politically left. However, I have often wondered what do Feminists think of Larry Flynt (I presonally like the guy, because he promotes inter-racial coupling)?
You are right that most of the actors in straight/lesbian porn/erotica are men, but when you ask fans of straight/lesbian porn/erotica to list off their favorite male actors, they will usually say Ron Jermey, and then draw a complete blank. But when you ask them to list off who their favorite straight/lesbian porn/erotica actresses are, in less than 5 minutes they will come up with 10 or 20 starlet names.
Women could easily take control over the straight/lesbian porn/erotica industry, if a women's movement was so inclined.
