The last panel was a spoof on Joe Biden thinking FDR was POTUS when the stock market crashed.
You remember that big goof that Katie pretended not to notice. :)
Obama got the limit raised on the nation's Visa card so he could pay off some of the nation's MasterCard.
But don't worry! _WE_ will ONLY be making $100 payments every month for the next "few" years.
It's called "stimulus."
:(
1. The big question: How do you budget a war? Seriously. Is everyone aware that no war we, or anyone, has ever fought ever fell into a budget? How do you figure future expenses in a war? I suppose you could budget $5 trillion a year and when it fails to reach that you could say, "LOOK, EVERYBODY! SURPLUS!" *wink*
2. How do you spend $trillions you don't have? Doesn't this fall in the "Credit Counseling" line somewhere?
Now for a statement: You all realize that most things we buy such as food, gasoline, alcohol, household items, and luxuries like cars are all about to have a surprising price increase, right? The surprising thing to me now is that most of you seem to want this. Do those who say they're in favor of this expect some sort of income increase, too? Do you want to live in another Sweden where the average Jane doesn't bring home enough money to afford a cell phone without Government subsidies? Do you know how they pay for the subsidies? It's why she doesn't make enough money!
Obama is currently blowing up the Republican Party like a kid blowing up a balloon.
Let's look at a few facts: One, the deficit we're all going to be enjoying will be almost 3 times the size of the one a lot of you were yelling about during the Bush years. I've not seen _ANYONE_ here yelling about this new, MUCH bigger and improved deficit.
Two, Obama is spending humongous (Understatement, I know.) amounts of money left and right THAT WE DON'T HAVE. Is it clear to everyone what I mean? Who's going to pay for this, anyway? Are you REALLY ready for $9 a gallon gasoline and $5 a gallon milk? Are you ready for "cheap" cars costing $40K? How much money do you make again? The real obamanation of it all is that he's spent more money in the last _2 weeks_ than was spent in the last 2 years of the Bush presidency. Where's the outrage here, people? Most of you hypocrites were so angry with Bush spending you were foaming at the mouth. Now you're strangely silent in the face of an abomination...er...obamanation.
Three, I do NOT want to pay for some mortgage that someone couldn't afford in the first place. To require me to is just one more obamanation. I work for my money and I don't live above my means. I have zero desire to pay for you to live above yours.
Do I sound a little angry? You betcha!
So let's all jump behind our man, Obama, while Obamamania makes the last 8 years look like a "quiet Tea Party in the backyard" and he is busy huffing and puffing on that balloon.
While I understand it's beyond a few your means, I hope this makes some of the rest do a small amount of pondering.
