@fightthetheocracy!

I find it both illogical and irrational to be in favor of one sexual deviancy (Also known as "sexual preference.") and not in favor of another (i.e. homosexuality and pedophilia.) when they are "wrong" for ALL of the SAME moral and religious reasons.

I find that people who praise homosexuality and curse child molestation or incest in the same paragraph are acutely unaware they're being intense hypocrites. What difference does it make if some guy finds another man, or a pre-pubescent girl sexually attractive? They both deviate from the normal way biology runs things. Neither can procreate the species. Both are wrong in the minds of other men and women for the same basic reasons.

Look up the definition of the word deviancy. That's how I've used it. Deviant isn't a bad word.

Personally, I choose not to allow any of them to get the better of any other. If we allow one then, in order to have "Equal Rights For All" we need to actually do just that.

To pick and choose which morally and religiously "banned" behavior we allow is absurd.

Remember, homosexuality used to be illegal just as incestuous marriages are now. Legalities can be changed either by choice or by force in a court of law.

Proposition 8 gave democracy a chance and now some people are screaming over the outcome. I can't imagine why. Childishness? The "I want" syndrome?

I count multiple homosexual men and women as some of my closest friends. They never fail to bring a smile to my face when I see them. However, if I were to agree to allow them to marry I see no reason I shouldn't allow the brother and sister couple down the street who have a child together to marry also.

"Equal Rights For ALL Or Nothing." is a more realistic motto.

Polygamists are already raising their hand and saying, "Hey, wait a minute! I'm here, too!"

Also, look up the term "legal precedent."

Now, I've used logic, common sense and a somewhat scientific approach to the issue and you will attempt to cut it to shreds using a lack of common sense and completely illogical means to do so.

I also want to say the whole post Proposition 8 circus has led me to wonder what the hell has happened to democracy?

Thanks for your time.

Confused

Why do we insist on believing the climate and, indeed, ecosystems should remain stable now when neither ever have?

Perhaps if we didn't catch so many California salmon there would be more? Remember the outpouring of tears and blame when the local Indians were catching nine tenths of a percent of the salmon commercial fishermen were taking? Remember how many people wanted the Indians to stop fishing over that nine tenths of a percent?

Everyone is talking about how bad dams are for salmon and we should get rid of all of them we can. Well, those dams provide our electricity and drinking water. If it came down to it, would you rather have more salmon or a glass of water? Which do you think the government will go for?

Nowhere in any of these kinds of stories do I see any mention of a doable solution. Can you guess the reason why that is?

Silly Right-Wingers

It's absolutely ridiculous to think Al Franken has stolen the election.

Absurd, even.

Now, if Norm Coleman had also won the recount, well, that would have been Theft of the First Degree and we Franken lovers would be screaming and whining and crying...well, you get the picture.

Say, do you think Hamas will stop throwing rockets into Israel so the Israelis can go home?

And to think

If Hamas had only stopped targeting (I'm not talking "collateral damage" here.) innocent Israelis sometime over the last um, 2 years, and worked to make Gaza some semblance of a self-contained autonomous region, (Meaning "doing something for the people.") none of this would have ever happened in the first place.

Forgive me for not being in lockstep with your pseudo-Nazi/Communist and completely brainless anti-Israel stance. I happen to use my brain for better things than typing out illogical and irrational bullshit on my computer.

Have a nice day. :)
