What's the deal with everyone talking about climate change? Are we seriously entertaining the notion that the climate, sea levels, etc. should now, for some unknown and unthinking reason, remain stable? Are we forgetting the well known fact that the climate and sea levels have never been stable?

I smell a chance to make some money from all of this. Get me Al Gore on the phone. He's making money out the patootie from all of this.

Seriously, I think the human race is doomed. We have lost our brains and not only are we not looking for them, we don't even know they're gone.

The world is going to get warmer and the sea level is going to rise and there's nothing we can do to stop it. Of course, thinkers know this but they're more worried about the $trillions and $trillions invested in beach-front properties like New York City, Venice and London and all the rest of those places that have been under water, and dry again, many times in the past.

Let's make like it's our fault for the first time in 5 billion years and make some money from it.

If the left hadn't pushed for more "equal" housing lending which created an entire class of mortgage holders who couldn't afford mortgages we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Massive defaults hit the proverbial "brick wall" when the housing bubble burst and, suddenly, those with mortgages who couldn't actually afford them, couldn't get easy sales of their defaulted properties.

The result was foreclosures left and right. The gentle rain that became a huge torrent. How many of you knew people with mortgages who never had a hope of actually paying them off? How many of those were lucky enough to sell their houses?

During the Clinton years many people said, "You can't lend money to those who won't be able to repay it." It fell on deaf ears.

Release your hate and your bigotry and live alongside those who do not share your beliefs. Remember diversity and tolerance and all the rest of the things liberals are "supposed" to fancy.
