I Shall Smite Thee Down With Righteous Vengeance and Furious....

When I saw that the AG had lost it and collapsed while making a speech in defence of the Bush torture regime today, my first thought was that God Almighty was surely teaching these fools a lesson.

But then he got better, so maybe it was just a warning. Who knows? Only Baby Jeebus and the Angels.

Either way, it won't matter. These evil criminals are beyond help.

Did you see Bush getting ignored by all the G20 leaders? That was after he had to ask the Australian PM what the G20 even was! IMHO pressure is taking it's toll. Reality is a b*tch sometimes.

Anthrax Revisited

Glenn,

Did you see the latest anthrax-related developments?

U.S. Loses Ruling on Hatfill

A federal judge ordered the Justice Department yesterday to release documents that explain why investigators suspected Steven J. Hatfill in the 2001 anthrax mailings. Hatfill has since been exonerated.

U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ordered the Justice Department to make public affidavits and related records used to persuade judges to allow federal agents to search Hatfill's property. He also ruled that the government must disclose similar records involving Hatfill's girlfriend.

In ruling for the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times, which were seeking the documents in a lawsuit, Lamberth wrote that the public has "a legitimate interest in observing and understanding how and why the investigation progressed in the way that it did."

In 2002, Attorney General John D. Ashcroft named Hatfill as a "person of interest" in the anthrax mailings, which killed five people and sickened 17 others. In June, the former bioweapons researcher settled a lawsuit alleging privacy violations by the Justice Department for $5.85 million. Prosecutors later officially "excluded" him as a suspect in the attacks.

Authorities now say that bacteriologist Bruce E. Ivins, who committed suicide in July, was the sole perpetrator of the crime.

Do you think a new administration will get to the bottom of this story? Is Leahy still pushing for resolution? I still think this story is the key to blowing the lid on the whole cabal.

@ Jim White

This passage raises some very interesting questions. Given the parallels in the warnings from PBS and CNN, it appears that somehow, these producers are basically censoring the news. On what authority are they doing this? Is corporate management of both organizations requiring it, or is the government forcing these organizations to censor?

Is it really so hard to draw a conclusion? Didn't the CIA boast, way back in the 1970s, that they had successfully infiltrated every major media organisation in the USA? Do you really think they wouldn't have infiltrated the FCC as well?

And twenty, thirty, forty years later, after Reagan, after ex-CIA head Bush 41, and after 8 years of his idiot son, after FAUX News and all the rest, do you really think they haven't fully infiltrated US media everywhere?

You want the truth in today's USA? Tune in to Good Celery FM!

You Were Warned

The real error is to bother distinguishing between Bush 41 and Bush 43. Same people.

I live in Australia, I'm not even a US citizen, and yet I seem to be the only person on earth who remembers what Ronald Reagan said in a GOP nomination campaign advert:

"A coalition of multinational corporate executives, big-city bankers, and hungry power brokers... want to give you George Bush... their purpose is to control the American government."

Two decades earlier, as at least a few people remember, Eisenhower had warned about the growth of the "military-industrial complex". And before that, FDR warned:

"The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in essence, is fascism - ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling power... Among us today, a concentration of private power without equal in history is growing."

That "concentration of private power" included George W. Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, who was later convicted by the US government under the Trading with the Enemy Act.
