@joeCHI
[Read the article: Making sense of Super Tuesday]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Watching MSNBC for Pat Buchanan is scarey isn't it. I am doing the same thing. This is how bad ir is: I actually bought Buchanan's book (How the Right Went Wrong or something like that). Granted I picked it up out of the bargain bin at the $$ store but still, before this media cluster f*** I would have soon expected lightning to strike me as to even listen to anything Buchanan had to say.
Now he is the only voice of reason at MSNBC along with Abrams from time to time. Now I have to figure out how to add Fox News back into my TV remote.

Those Polls that say only Obama can beat McCain
[Read the article: "Because I love America ... I have to now stand aside"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Would that be the same polls that had Obama by 6 points ahead and pulling away in CA on Feb 5? Or maybe those on Jan 7 in NH that Obama had a double digit lead over Clinton? Or maybe the ones that had Rudy os the heavy fav for the GOP nomination - until people actually started voting? Or perhaps those that gave Clinton a 20 point lead over Obama nationally and said her nomination was "inevitable"? Or maybe the ones that wrote Mike Huckabee off as having no chance whatsoever against the Romney money machine? Or for that matter the ones that had McCain's campaign DOA last summer?
Don't go crowing about what this poll or that pole has said. I think we could do better than the polls by using a Magic 8 Ball!
We will know who will win the DEM nomination and whether they can or can't beat McCain this coming Nov. All of this petty bickering between Obama & Clinton supporters is a gift to the GOP. Debate and discuss the ISSUES people, not personal characteristics and slogans.

Even the robo ads are full of sexism
[Read the article: The Shuster fallout]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As I go through reading this thread of letters I can't help but notice the robo ads that go down the side of my screen advertising "Hillary Facelift', "Hillary Nut Cracker", "Anti-Hillary Gear" etc., etc. And they are apparently acceptable or even enticeing to the general public or these ads would not be there. There are no racist ads.....if there were ads for a cartoon or action figure of Obama as a lawn jockey the world would stop spinning and there would be OUTRAGE, particularly from the same faction whose mantra is "change we can believe in".
I agree with some of the other posters, I refuse to watch MSNBC and the War Room may be next. The MSM has chosen their candidate, all for the sake of a "better story line" or to make sure the scales tip to the GOP again and keep those corporate tax cuts and no bid contracts rolling in.

@ DetroitMed
[Read the article: David Shuster, scapegoat?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Very well said, I have been thinking this myself for a good long while now. I hope the voters are not going to be suckered again with a talented but inexperienced charismatic pol.
Obama may be the greatest thing since sliced bread....but we know far to little about what he will actually do as opposed to what he says he will do. And before you all pile on - yes- I have been to his web site and read his "position statements". Very inspireing to me with some good ideas.
But if you guys think the GOP will give him the opportunity to "reach across party lines" have us all hold hands while we pull together as brothers and sisters across the land you are drinking the MSNBC kool-aid.

War Room "squarely behind Obama"
[Read the article: Clinton's "win-at-all-costs strategy"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Nothing like a biased headline "even if it is in quotes". The Obama campaign owes you at least a thank-you note for making sure a negative Clinton message shows up for most of the day on people's Yahoo home pages that have the Salon War Room module. I guess it is a good thing yesterday was a holiday or we might have been treated to it for 2 days.
I know, you were just using a "quote". It happens to be on a day where there might be a tight finish in a primary state. It happens to advance the Obama campaigns talking points. Of course he is "staying above the fray", "taking the high road" and "refuses to go negative". So I guess we are supposed to believe that this "Hillary will do anything to win" mantra is supposed to be , uh positive in some way?
Do you guys think Obama really needs that much help? Have you checked out MSNBC lately for ideas? The media's slanted coverage is fast becoming the headline and that is never good.
Here's an idea, journalistic neutrality.

Problems @ Steve1us
[Read the article: A supersize controversy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Having a bad day with women are you? Maybe some wife/girlfriend/mother issues. Perhaps issues with women in authority positions? Watching too much "Hardball" or maybe a big Chris Matthews fan?
Why would you claim that women are voting for Clinton totally based upon gender? Has it possibly occurred to you that just maybe we have the intellect and ability to look at the issues and rheteric and base our choice on that.
