Good thing there aren't more pressing matters for Nancy Pelosi, et al to worry about.....

Go to the state & take the kids? You think it's a disaster now, just wait until the state gets into it. Not only will everyone in your family hate you, the boys will hate you too.
A couple people have talked about getting rid of the bf. I can almost gaurantee you that even if you got her to dump him, within 6 months she'd have a new loser in her life. The problem in your sister's life isn't other people.
The problem is your sister.

I do know that in many asian countries the men truely treat the women like crap. So when a guy from a 'westernized' country comes along & is nice to asian women, the asian women go ape-shit over him.
Really. I mean I get attention from women here in the good ol US of A...but in Thailand, Vietnam et al I'm treated like a rock star or something.
Is life great or what?

But thats a symptom, not the disease.
The disease is within sister & no one else. Only she can solve her problems, or at least be honestly willing to work with others to solve them.
I have a niece in a somewhat similar situation. She has made awful decisions about her life since she was 14 (she's 28 now). She's an alcoholic & drug addict. She will lie, convincingly, to your face..then go do what she's gonna do an hour later. We have tried, repeatedly, to help her. Gave her money, encouraged her to return to school, to get job training, etc etc etc. It just doesn't work. She's not dumb--in junior high she used to IQ test around 130. My theory is that is part of the problem--she uses her intelligence for self-destructive purposes.
People are responsible for their own lives. It's ultimately as simple as that.

I swear to God several teams I played against in HIGH SCHOOL in the 70's could have won this year's CWS.
It just makes me sad to see how far the level of play has fallen in the US.

That is an absolute certainty.
My advise would be to dump boring boyfreind before you bring an std back to him.
But more than likely she will just screw around behind his back (wannabe-artists can't support themselves so she needs him until some other chump comes along), then blame him for that painful discharge they both have.
'Exciting' people are never responsible for the damage they cause.

That is, a team with some good young players & on the rise. LaMarcus Aldredge, Jarrett Jack, Brandon Roy..maybe Martell Webster will still become a decent NBA player. They could use a real good center to make this a team to be reckoned with.
I just am not sure Oden is the guy. But he is the logical pick. Glad I am not the one who has to make the decision tonite.
