GROW THE F*** UP!
[Read the article: Hey, Obama boys: Back off already!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Both sides!!!!!
You all are acting like children.
If you can't have discourse with your Democratic 'opponent', don't post at all.
You guys all want 4 more years of Republicans in the White House??
Then keep this shit up.
---------------------------------------------
After struggling to make my decision on whom to vote for in the Oregon primary, I finally decided today.
I will vote for Hillary. I think she has the brains, the experience and the courage to win in November.
Since 1968 Democrats have won a grand total of 3 Presidential elections. Three. The Clintons account for two of those wins.
And the other (Carter) won a squeeker in a year in which the Dems should have won by 20 points (1st Presidential election post-Watergate).
The Clintons have a made a career of beating Republicans in races they were supposed to lose. Remember 1992?? At one point Bill Clinton was in 3RD PLACE! - & Clinton won the Arkansas govenorship in a red southern state.
Yes they campaign down & dirty. It's the only way to beat the GOP at their own nasty, filthy little game.
If Obama is the nominee--I will gladly support him.
But I honestly think Hillary is our best chance of winning this thing.
Peace

Deprogram Them
[Read the article: Polygamists' progeny]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Then deprogram everyone else in the LDS cult.
After all, the whole church is based on the teachings of Joseph Smith.
Who was told by God to do many things, not the least of which was to marry many young girls.
But then the LDS church saw how politically incorrect that was they decided that wasn't the word of God anymore.
So who's the bigger liar--the nutjobs who insist it's God's intent for them to have many wives.
Or the average Mormon who's beliefs, apparently, change with the wind?
-----------------------------------------
Beyond all this, I truely believe if a guy wants 4 wives--or a woman wants 10 husbands--and everyone is of legal age and happy with the situation, they ought to be allowed to be polygamous.
It's certainly not something I'd want. But to each their own.

My Libbie Freinds
[Read the article: Polygamists' progeny]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Here in Salon are amazing, just amazing.
You are for the state taking kids from their parents, the parents being locked up for good, becuz some beaurocrat sez them folks is BAD!
Really.
What is the age of consent in Texas?? I believe people can get married at various ages in various states.
Not only has not one single person been convicted of anything, no one has even been CHARGED with anything.
It's quite possible no one has broken any laws, & that the original complaintant doesn't even live in this place.
Further, because these people don't live their lives the way you want them too--the men must all be evil rapists, the women brainwashed morons, the kids scarred-for-life wards of the state.
All of that may be true, but before we pass judgement, lets give them their day in court & see some actual evidence, shall we?
You folks are truely scarry people. I'm sure somewhere Stalin is smiling today.

[Read the article: Advertise anorexia, go to jail?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]of people in developed nations are too thin. And the libbies wanna throw people in jail because of it.
Has anyone noticed there is a f'ing EPIDEMIC of obesity??
Ah shit, why do I even try.....

Anon Too & Brightstar
[Read the article: Attack of the "freemales"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Anon too - if you are happily single, then thats great.
But most people would prefer to be in a happy relationship with someone they love, cherish & respect. I never thought I'd get married again either--I am 46 & got divorced 16 years ago & raised a son as a single parent. But I met someone special and am getting married in June.
You sound like a nice person. Don't give up on love! There are some nice & decent men out there.
Brightstar - Please try to learn forgiveness. I agree, there are some really mean, rotten & nasty women out there. There are also some incredibly giving and wonderful ones.
Learn to forgive people who let you down. You'll be a much happier person.

Wal Mart
[Read the article: McCain's gassy tax relief]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Built it's entire business model on using cheap fuel to transport the cheap goods made by cheap labour in asia.
One leg of that 3-legged stool is breaking right now.
How do you suppose the local vendors Wal Mart has beaten over the head for a couple decades are gonna react when the boys & girls from Wal Mart wanna 'play nice' now??
Pay Back's a B***H!

Back of Beyond
[Read the article: Where are your children?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yeah---I DID try to take my son. My employer EMPHATICALLY said "daughters only", 1998??
So take your snideness & stuff it!
----------------------------------
Now I just generally try to avoid the entire day---I spend as much of this particular day out in the field as possible so I am not FORCED to babysit other people's snotty little brats!
Shouldn't 10 year old's be able to read?? I'm truely frightened by some of the interactions I had with the kids this afternoon.
Both my kids could read before they went to 1st grade. Read to your god-damned kids instead of whining online about some shit.
This country is heading down the tubes in a hurry...

Jonathan'a Analysis
[Read the article: The unbeatable Celtics]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is dead-on.
There was no one on the Hawks who could gaurd Garnett. He should have been taking 30 shots a game. And he should have touched the ball on every half-court set at a minimum. No one on the Cavs can gaurd him either. Maybe Rasheed can. But he will get mighty frustrated trying, and that frustration could possibly disrupt the Pistons effort.
Bottom line--there's lots of guys out there who can be 6'3" -6'8" & run & shoot the ball.
Not many who can be 7' with 7-footer skills who also has the agility/skills of a small forward. In fact, I can only think of one--Kevin Garnett. (maybe Greg Oden will turn out to be--we'll see)
Hopefully Doc Rivers will pull his head out of his ass & realize this before they play the Pistons.
Just some comments from an unbiased (Trailblazer fan) observer.
