  • Personally

[Read the article: Are men spoiled rotten?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I just had to dump my much younger girlfreind because she wanted kids & I already raised two as a single parent (Ex had to go 'find herself' w/her doper bf when the kids were small). Don't wanna do THAT again.

I would not trade those 20 years for the world, but hey, now that the kids are grown & on their own it's time to travel & enjoy life.

But anyways thats what I see as the major problem with may-december romances. At least from an older guy-younger woman angle.

BTW--the several female lw's in here who said 40-something men can't get it up--hey hey, no problems with my winky ;)

Now let the personal attacks begin!

  • I love

the end of these letter threads.

You can always count on bendover, deering & a bunch of gutless 'anon's' to pour their gender hatred into the fire! Almost like pavlov's dogs. Such fun!

I think the bigger issue here is how american society looks negatively on older people (regaurdless of gender).

Watch today's TV shows compared to TV shows of 30 years ago. Now you rarely find a older person in them. 30 years ago there were lots of older people on evening TV. & when older people are on TV, they generally are portrayed in a negative light.

Anyways--you all keep the gender hatred deep inside your core. It'll pay off in the long run.

    Really.

    It will.

Bwahahahahahaah-->>If that doesn't sum this whole letter up, I don't know what does.

    -----------------------------------

As we see again today, people sure have issues with gender!

    -----------------------------------

For christs sake czarina et al--at what age do you want people to start being responsible for their own lives?? 25?? 30?? 35?? 40?? Never??

    -----------------------------------

BTW translated: "I need my space" = "I want to f**k someone else!"

wasn't the greatest player of his era.

    Mays was.

And in his best years so was Mantle.

But Mantle boozed his career away.

And Mays played the majority of his career in a park that was death to hitters of all kinds, but especially right-handed power hitters, at night with the wind blowing in off the bay.

  • It just proves

[Read the article: Clinton leads Giuliani in swing state poll]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Our holier-than-thou freinds in the GOP don't give a flying fig about ethics or morality.

    They just wanna win.

Giuliani has no morals?? Who cares, it's only bad when Democrats do it.

    Stop Ignoring me, dammit! :)

I always wonder what possess's a guy to kick the crap out of his 8-month pregnant wife? One would think that would be the LAST PERSON a guy would want to beat up. But from what I have read it is actually quite common.

    It's a strange world..

  • I'm in the Air Force

[Read the article: She raped herself]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

And I have to believe there is more here than what is being reported.

In the past few years the Air Force has been aggressive in attacking sexual harrassment/assualt cases & gives mandatory annual anti-sexual assault training to each Air Force member.

In addition each unit now has a sexual attack response team made up exclusively of members of that unit, who are trained to respond to incidents like these.

I understand liberals, in general, are not too fond of the military. But lets wait until we get all the facts before we pass judgement.

Watching the 'Oprah' show is like watching liberals inbreed. In fact thats what it is. They can all get-together & have a little lovefest.

Merv was a great businessman & made alot of money. Thats what the object is in a capitalist world. Good for Merv.

Oh yeah, Oprah's a billionaire too. But it's ok to be rich if you're a liberal.

    Now, back to liberal-inbreeding.

  • The Reason

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

OBP (or strikeout-to-walk ratio)is a critical factor for young hitters because---dah dah dah---it indicates how well a hitter understands the strike zone.

Barry Bonds, everyone's favorite player to hate, hasn't had a season in which he had more strikeouts than walks since 1988. Even as a rookie in 1986 Bonds struck out 102 times & walked 65 times.

If a young hitter has some idea of what a strike looks like, chances are he'll have a decent career.

Otherwise major league pitchers will have him chasing pitches out of the strike zone all game long.

No one's responded to revinc's post??

    How sad...

I can't tell if it's men or sex she doesn't like (or both?)

Sad that there are people like her in this world. But it's a strange world filled with strange people.

  • It's Been

[Read the article: Chaste women + promiscuous men = impossible]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

my experience that, in general, both men & women want sex.

Women prefer it in the context of a relationship, men are more likely to want 'meaningless' sex.

It's all perfectly explainable from a evolutionary standpoint.

  • In fact it's just the opposite

[Read the article: Working women's wife envy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    In my experience.

When I was married with a kid I had to worry about domestic stuff, the relationship, the kid & the job.

After the divorce I had to worry about the house, the kid & the job.

When my son left for college, all I really had to worry about is the job. How much can I mess up the house living by myself? I hire a maid a few times a year to really clean the house. The rest of the time I pick up after myself.

So now I can really concentrate on the career. & in the 4 years since my son moved out I have been promoted twice & doubled my salary.

This whole myth of a wife making a guy's life so much easier is total crap.

    It makes it harder!

  • Somegirls & Nerham

[Read the article: Working women's wife envy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Somegirls--good point. Correlation does not necessarily mean causation.

Nerdham---the wife of a multi-billionaire makes him a sack of granola each morning. Wow! The horror! How many women on planet earth do you suppose would be willing to trade places with her?
