Throughtout much of the world--particularly in places with lots of dark-pigmented skinned people, skin whiteners sell like hot cakes.

Meanwhile, in places that have lots of light-pigmented skinned people, products that make the skin darker sell real well.

Bottom line--no one is happy with who they are.

One letter-writer above speculated that alot of the outrage about Mike Vick was because of race. That may well be. White america freaks-out about any physically large black man who doesn't lick whitey's ass.

I must restate my premise:

We are getting only one side of this story. LW is getting wigged out over things that make her sound like she's 13.

She gives no evidence LW & sis are dating. They like baseball. Big whoop. And if they were dating--again, big whoop. These are adults. Grow the F%%k up!

I think it's possible it's LW with the issues. I think it's possible the other two are just average normal people who have things in common.

Look, I realize this is a feminist website & the people who respond to these types of letters will take the woman's side 95% of the time & view the man-as-abuser. I get that.

1) Why does everyone take letter-writer's story at face-value?

We only know ONE side of this. We don't know if ex-bf is the one who's creepy. We don't know if Twin-Sister has problems with boundaries. We don't know that ex-bf & Sis are anything more than freinds who like baseball.

What we DO KNOW is that letter-writer is 55 & acts like she's 13. I have a hunch letter-writer isn't telling us an unbiased story.

The people acquired aids.

The same people work in the porn industry.

It does not, necessarily follow that these people GOT aids from working in the porn industry. I doubt the majority of porn actors are celibate outside of work.

Further, I don't see how the govt can STOP plural marriages.

The first ammendment gives us the right to freedom of religion. If your religion includes polygamy, how can the state tell you your religion is not legit?

Honestly, I've never understood why people gave a crap what other consenting adults choose to do.

If some dude wants 8 willing wives, it's not my business.

If some woman wants 8 will husbands, how does that hurt me?
