And now we as Americans finally get to experience what the people of Central and South America have for so many years since becoming the newest Banana Republic in this hemisphere.... with a small group of super-rich; soon no middle class to speak of, and the vast majority working and non-working poor.
If some people learn to love it, that's their business... I think it's a shame.

I think Hillary has always been a shill for the corporation and won't do anything to loosen their destructive grip on the lives of working people. I'll vote for her anyday over McCain, who actually bows at the feet of the rich and powerful. But, better than Hillary is Obama, and I think most working people know this.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama should still win. He was the first to speak out against the obscene profits being pocketed by oil corporations at the expense of the vast majority who are must buy gas at 3-4 dollars per gallon.
Obama has also criticised the outsourcing of millions of good paying jobs to Third World countries - all to make a few people in participating countries filthy rich. Hillary has said a thing or two, but clearly not as much and only after Obama spoke out.
It's going to be extremely difficult for Obama to bring about a change for the majority of Americans, but at least he's going to try. However, I don't think Hillary will do much of anything and McCain? Forget it, because he's too busy prostrating himself at the feet of the rich and powerful.

I know most Muslims don't think this way, but some do, and as a result, there must be vigilence at the border. Sad but true.

Since all the products we see and buy are made in China, and benefit only a very small number of American businessmen and investors, why not learn the mother tongue of the New World Leader?
By the way, did you know Adult Chinese workers (over the age of 16) make approx. 65 cents per hour and children make 25 cents per hour? They do. Sweet!!! Of course, political prisoners work for nothing, so there you go!!! Now, how will I spend that check?

Does he really believe that when Christ comes again the Jewish people will have a choice: declare their belief in Christ or burn in hell? Or is he just happy to see the "Rapture Ready" fundamentalists contribute millions to Israel. I don't think it matters. He's acting in a deplorable manner either way and shouldn't be taken seriously. There are millions of Jews and Christians who are not extremists.

Spielberg cannot make a bad film. From Munich to Shindler's List to AI.....All his films are finely crafted and absorbing.
Adam Sandler's films? Well, there's the fart jokes, the butt crack jokes, continuous cleavage shots, and Adam acting like a lovable moron. (Although I did like him in Little Nicky)
I really doubt if Sandler wants his films compared to Spielberg's, so why should Stepanie Zacharek or anyone else?

Well, if Obama's policies reduce the obscene amounts of money that have flowed to corporate investors at the expense of the vast majority of the American people, I say great for him.
