[Read more letters about this article: Here]Let me just say that every American car since the early 70's that I've had has been a piece of junk, with my Japanese, German and even Italian cars beating the pants of them for driver satisfaction, gas mileage, quality of workmanship and dependability.
English cars, on the other hand, sucked worse that Detroit. But they figured it out and sold all their auto industries to the Germans. We should get such a clue.
The American auto industry has been dying for decades. Bury the corpse already and put us all out of our misery. PLEASE retrain the workers to... wait, there are no industries that are hiring now, except the military.
As the auto industry goes (dead), so goes the country.

They represent the tiniest minority, and are the most cynical, evil bastards alive, dedicated to grabbing power, marginalizing women, lying to their followers and then breaking every one of the 10 commandments that come along. They do not deserve the respect of the electorate, mcuh less the fawning fellatio that Faux News, MSM and the puppet-pundits lavish on them.
My only regret is that the Xtians themselves never got up the gumption to throw the bums out. Oh well, I guess organized religion isn't really ripe ground for independent thinking.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]GRAIN prices are going up for dairy feed. Duh, cows were never meant to eat grain. It causes intense digestive problems, which cause the animal great pain and directly affects the nutrients available from the milk. But it is more efficient for large dairy operations, like Horizon. This is a feedlot mentality, directly connected to the industrialized farm industry, but local dairy farms should be relatively immune to the grain shortage if they are allowing their cattle to pasture naturally.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]There are plenty of bosses out there who look at women as tits on legs, and if she gives in to the harassment and leaves, that gives that big shining sign that women are not welcome in the workplace. Every jerk running an office can then, with impugnity, harass his female employees to his dick's content , knowing that there is no consequence other than having to train a new piece of ass. And women, who support families across this coumtry, will have no job security.
AND, studies have shown that women actually increase the value of the company, and I am quoting here from NPR's Marketplace, from Oct 1st, show:
A study out today shows that among the 500 largest American companies, those with the highest number of women on their boards outperform those with fewer. In return on equity, companies with the most women beat out the less-diverse competition by 53 percent. In return on invested capital, the number was 66 percent.
In other words, Thomas is lowering the value of his company, do you get that concept?
And, by the way, I have been there, long before women had the right to sue. It is impossible to do your job with some leering asshole as a boss.

Then, you two will have walked a couple of yards in the shoes of the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of working women in this country.
But really guys, why don't you get over your wife/mother problems and stop trolling this column.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I have been in the music biz also, and the one thing I remember is the greedy old farts running the companies that steal from the (poverty-stricken) artists to line their own pockets. This is just more of the same.
But, more to the point, whatever her crime, the punishment is abominable. I would be willing to send $25-$50 to this woman to help pay her fine. I'd appreciate anyone who could forward a link to help in that regard.
