The self-importance factor

The reason Blurtooth headsets and many cell phones are so lame is because lame people choose to wear and use them always, not taking other people into account, and not being courteous.

I recently went to a wedding where a blutooth user kept it in his ear during the ENTIRE wedding reception. So tacky. And then there's signs that have popped up at stores and restaurants advising people not to use cell phones while in line, to be courteous to other patrons waiting ont hem to finish their calls. Apparently it's become a problem so pervasive there is a need to address it, for the good of the other patrons.

It's not the technology, it's mistaken belief that your phone call is more important than manners and courtesy in dealing with others in the world you inhabit. Other people just fade into the backgroud as they take their "important" call.

Bluetooth technology just takes that show up a notch.

Pehaps if it gripped it by the husk . . . but it IS a matter of weight ratios.
