[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am oer 60, was a pro chocie activists for over 10 years. I consider myself a feminist. I voted for Barak Obama. I think he is the most qualified candidate of the two and he can win in Nov. I would never vote for a woman just because she is a woman. It is a stupid reason to vote for Hillary.
I have really never thought of Hillary as a feminist. Until this election I had a lot of respect for Hillary. However I think her campaign got pretty down and dirty. She is using the gender card and I find that pretty disgusting, and not helpful to women. People are not against her because she is a woman. They just like Obama better, and do not like Bill and do want another Clinton co presidency.
However I must say that young women seem clueless to the benefits they enjoy because of the woman's movement in the 70s. We are one vote away from losing Roe v Wade. We can count on either Obama and Hillary to appoint judges that will uphold the constitution, so we must all unite behind one candidate in the end.
One question Why is Broadsheet PINK. God I thought we got rid of the "woman must wear pink.. Old feminist consider the use of pink as sexism and a sign of weakness. Does the work "Broad" stand for women?

How come there was not outcry against Christians when the Oklahoma bombing happened? The 2 guys involved were part of the Christian Milita movement which was supported by radical pro-lifers and the Christian Identity movement.
What about white evangelicals who have ranted from the pulpit abortion is murder, and called abortion providers murderers. These kinds of rantigns from the pulpits of Catholic churches white evangelical churches gave rise to terror at abortion clinics, harassment of patients, bombings, and finally killing doctors and seriously injuring nurses.
Why is there not outcry of anti american when white evangelicals rant hate against gays.
Wright was Right! White racist can't face it!

As far as United Church of Christ it is a protestant church, formed from three main line protestant churches. In fact I live in an upscale white neighborhood in silicon valley and our local community church is a United Church of Christ. Yes they are liberal. The church practices the true principles of Christ's teachings: social justice, peace, civil liberties. They support reproductive rights, gays rights and welcome all to their church.
Ther church is about community, just like Rev. White's church.

It will not stop the divisive nature of FOX news. If I were the candidates I wold refuse interviews on the FOX network and ignore them. FOX loves love to did up unimportant crap turn it into a big deal for their ignorant audience.
You will never see FOX showing videos of the hateful rantings of white evangelical minsters.

He did Hillary a favor by mentioning the Ferro blow up and including women and glass ceilings in his speech.
Hopefully we can move forward.
They should both stay away for FOA and lock them out of their campaings.

WW 2 Victory

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The difference in world War 2, we were allies with France, Briton, Russia, Canada, etc. WW2 was an allied victory, not just a U.A. victory. Briton and Russia and the French and Polish underground has just as much to do with that victory as we did.
Bush's blatant statement in the beginning "you ether with us or against Us' set the tone for defeat. Even Briton has the sense to pull out. This war is another Vietnam, unjustified, not winnable.
Why isn't the media covering this war anymore? If there are victories cover them. Why doesn't soem network do a series on the people who have left Iraq.
