  • Democrats need to face it

[Read the article: Obama can't win general election, Clinton advisor says]

Democrats face it, McCain is going to be a tough candidate to beat. His big mistake is staying the course on Iraq. Let's face it he is not a far right fanatic. I heard him speaking the other night and aside from taxes his proposals sounded much like a Democrat.

McCain unlike the Hillary campaingn beats down attacks on Obama. McCain was interviewed on Fox last night and he did not let Hannity lead him into the Obama attacks. In fact McCain was able to tone him down to a fairly civilized conversation. It would be very refreshing to see McCain and Obama run against each other,

as both McCain and Obama will run a campaign based on the issues and on the high ground.

My friend's remark had nothing to do with Botox it has to do with personality..and orchestrating a particular persona for a particular effect.

  • The Notorious W.E.S

Look at the percentage that each candidate is winning by. Obama has won more states by larger percentage margins than Hillary.

The Hillary campaign keeps spinning her BIg wins in Big states. However you need to look at the math. For instance the final count in CA shows Hillary only won by a 8.3 % lead. However Obama won in many districts that have more pledged delegtes and this is true in other states she won.

In the Oh TX for instance. In TX Hillary only won the primary by 1 pt and lost in the caucus. Obama came out of TX with more delegates. In OH after the final count, her lead is down to 10 pts and again Obama won in districts with higher pledged delegates counts.

As Hilary said in the beginning of this campaing " Its about delegates!"

I did not mean Yeas we Can is dippy. I just think the video is dippy.

I support Obama and I am not a delusional dippy person. I'm an out spoken 62 year old feminist. Obama is running an excellent campaign and he does not need any stupid Ads created outside his campaign.

I agree with some of what MoveOn does, but I thought their General Betray Us Ad was over the top, and did nothing to help, only hurt the cause to gt out of Iraq. We don't need this.

Before this election I refused to watch CNN and MSNBC. Since the primaries began we have been watching MSNBC, and Ballot Bowel on CNN. My husband has even watched FOX just to see what the nuts are watching.

Last night we decided we need a break from all this. Theses news outlets just fan the flames on every divisive issue.

We sticking with sanity for the rest of the campaing...

    NY Times, PBS, NPR.

  • Nothing new

[Read the article: Who wants to be a Democrat?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Obama has done this in almost every state. That is why we need him as the candiate. He is bringing in more new voters. His campaign is extremely organized and is well run. It's the first step in GOTV (Get Out The Vote)!

I predict PA voter is going to be close, and NO big win for Hillary.

  • Sunddenly Replicans for Hillary

[Read the article: Who wants to be a Democrat?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The reason republicans are suddenly starting to vote for Hilary is clear. Rush Limbaugh has been encouraging his right wing republican listeners to get and vote for Hillary. The republicans want Hillary for the nominee as they believe she will be easier to defeat than Obama.

  • Idenity voters

[Read the article: Memo to Clinton and Obama: Stop spinning]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I resent being lumped in to a voter block. For instance I am a white women, former pro-choice political activist, over 60 and I voted for Obama. So I don't fit into Identity. I do fit into the wealthy educated. I'm sure there must be wealthy educated supporting Hillary. There are many Blacks supporting Hillary.

How many people coming out of voting centers refuse to answer the pollsters?

I have talked to friends and relatives across the country. I have always been a political junkie, but now everyone has become a political junkie. This race has fired up people who have never voted, not vote in years, has brought in many new voters. All are watching this race very closely.

I spent this weekend at a family event. There was much discussion of the campaigns. This what I learned from those

    attending from many different states.

1.The conservative republicans over 70 are dying to have Hillary as the candidate for the Democrats as they think McCain can beat her. They burned a Hillary hat. This very prejudice group, but they like Obama because they like his ethics.

However they are not going to vote for him in the general election.

    2. Young fiscal republicans (30s): liked Romney; do not like McCain; think McCain is a bigger flip flopper than Romney. . They also dislike Hillary but would consider voting for Obama if he is the candidate. They dislike social conservatives are waiting to see McCain picks for a VP.

    3. Progressive Democrats their 60s both women and men were all strong Obama supporters.

    4. Women in their 40-50s: many had not voted before; made their decisions the day of the election; voted for Obama; now strong Obama supporters because they dislike the way HRC campaign is being conducted.

    5. A few gay males, in their 50s: strong Hillary supporters.

    6. 2 Young (30s) politically connected, from the beltway: Hilary supporters. They seemd angry and surprised to see the support for Obama. Us Obama supporters attributed this to their inability to see beyond the beltway.

    7. One relative, a newspaper reporter covering senate & congressional races across the country, says from what she is seeing on the ground is that Obama will bring more voters to the "down vote" in the senate and congressional races. She was very impressed with how much more organized the the Obama campaign was than Hillary's in her state.
