  • Hillary makes winl ook bigger

[Read the article: No Texas-size victory for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You have to give it to wonkie Hilary for making this win look bigger than it really is. How about all that confeitti trying to make it look like a convention.

As a long time Democrat I have been looking fresh new leaders in our party, and I have been excited by the prospect of bringing our party back to the progressive roots. Obama is that person. However Hillary is no more progressive than McCain. I don't believe Hillary is any more qualified to lead than Obama She is a HAWK. I have more confidence Obama will craft a better foreign policy strategy.

My husband, also a long time Democrat, will either sit out, or vote for McCain if Hillary is the candidate. In the beginning of this race, I decided even if my candidate, Obama, did not win, I would hold my nose and vote for Hillary. However over he last 2 weeks listening to Hillary her whining, her screeching, her dirty politics, I' mot sure I will vote if she is candidate... I do not see much difference between her and McCain, except that McCain will be like Obama and run a positive campaign.

  • Rush Limbaugh

[Read the article: No Texas-size victory for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Yes, My husband said he heard Rush Limbaugh on talk radio yesterday, encouraging in republicans in Oh and TX to get out and vote for Hillary, so the republicans can win in Nov.

I think the Democratic party needs to reform their primary election process, to make the voting process more uniform and not let Independents and Republicans vote in the primaries. We have a 2-party system in this country. Letting those who are unwilling to declare a party vote in he primaries is counter to our system. Let them commit to one party or the other.

Also for both parties make the election cycle shorter. Go back Mar-June and only have primaries. I think keeping the proportional delegates cont is okay. Ban 527,and limit the amount spent on elections.

  • HIllary hinting a combined ticket?

[Read the article: It ain't over yet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Is Hilary hinting she be the VP. after all she is behind in the both popular vote and delegates. Obama just got another Super delegate from OH today.

If I were Obama I would never sign on as Hillary's VP if she wins the nomination that would be a death for any future run for him. Besides Hillary already has her VP... Bill.

  • What ahhppened to Democracy?

So Alex wants us to drop out so pundits can control the conversation? No way!

  • Gender and race

[Read the article: Quote of the day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Obama is NOT running or race, however Hillary is running on gender and making no bones about it, as are her supporters.

  • I love M. Dowd

[Read the article: Dowd: Are (Hillary's) women necessary? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Not sure wath Dowd's grip is wiht the Clintons, but I like her sense of humor, and agree wiht her most of the time. I thhink maybe teh aturthor of this article does not get Dowd's snese of humor. Dowdis not angry, just sarcastic.

This old feminist is an Obama supporter as are most of my old pro-choice activists buddies. However many Hillary supporters I run into seem pretty edgy. maybe because their candidate is loosing.

Obama still got more delegates from TX & Ohio than Hillary.

  • Hillary is NO feminist

[Read the article: Dowd: Are (Hillary's) women necessary? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Clintons had to be dragged kicking and screaming to come out in public support of reproductive choice. What has Hillary ever done for the woman's movement? She has not sponsored any significant legislation in support of women, in fact shehas not sponsored any significant legislatin at all in her 7 years in the Senate.

Frankly any woman who claims her husband experience her own, is not a feminist.

  • Obama

[Read the article: It's 3 a.m. Who do you want answering the phone?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I have more confidence in Obama' jugdement in handling of any foreign relations crisis. Hillary claims experience, but she did nothing more than goodwill trips in her stint as first lady during her husbands presidency. She did not have the power to make any critical decisions in that time period. McCain also has just sat on committees and voted. Neither of them has anymore experience in this area than Obama. Obama serves on the foreign relations committee and has much respect in that position from is elders. Besides I agree the the polices of those 20 or more people who have advised Obama on foreign policy and endorsed him. Obama has several former generals, defense and foreign policy experts on his team.

They all have legislative experience but Obama has more than Hillary.

  • Republican cross over votes

[Read the article: It's 3 a.m. Who do you want answering the phone?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The reason there is suddenly big Republican cross over votes is Rush L,. and other right wing radio hosts encouraged republicans in TX and OH to vote for Hillary. You see conservatives think Hilary is much easier to beat.

  • Spin Machine

[Read the article: Obama advisor Power resigns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You can bet he Clinton Spin Machine won't shut up on this. Just watch.

As for those who say you still support your "girl" Hillary. Just goes to prove that real feminist are not supporting Hillary. "girl" is a degrading term which has used over the years by men to to degrade woman's importance and experienceein the work place , politics etc. I just don't get why younger women are using this term again.

When I was making calls CA for Obama, one women told me she thought she give the "girl" the vote. I was appalled, not by her remark to give Hillary the vote, but by the term "girl".
