The prices at our Shell station are now $3.89 per gallon for PLUS, down from 3.99 a week ago. Frankly I think we should keep gas prices high, so as to discouarge all these poeple running around in larger-than-life gas guzzling vehicles. That would include my children who think they need these vehicles to schelp their children and all their STUFF around to "Planned" play and sports events.

Irnoically I live in a neigborhood where the older people are trading in their volvos, BMWs Mercedeas for Toyota Pirus,

balancing out the newer genration moving in with ther BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus SUVs, and Vans(ugh).

I heard and intrview with writer-director Judd Apatow and the actor from "Knocked Up" on PBS's Fresh Air. I can't imagine going to see this movie afer listening to their interview. I could not belive how inarticulate they were....like Ya Know"

Toney Survies, but AJ kills all the rest of the family, then commits sucicide

I think the therapy angle was brillant. A mafia figure going to therapy, how ironic. the funnist scene ever was when the family had intervention seesion for Christopher's drug problem.

I thought the therapy sessions on the Sopranos were right. I have dealt with a family member with mental health problems, and sat in on some of the therapy sessions. The experience wiht this family member made me realize how much therpaists are manipulatd by thier patients and feed into their pychosis.

Tony is deeply depressed and kills himself. AJ is finally awakened by Tony's Shoe up the A-- and steps up to the plate to protect his family.

The witness protection program for Tony and his family might be an alternative. Even though Tony loves being top bannna he has an underlying urge to live a normal life.

So here's my other possbilbity Tony and family go into a witness protection program, the daughter fiihes law school and becomes a criminal lawyer. AJ joins the Marines and goes to Iraq.

I have always had great admiration for Hllary. She is strong, assertive, intelligent, and knows when to make the right moves at the right time. Will I vote for her, probably not. For these reason: (1)I'd rather have her vote in the Senate. (2) She's a centrist. (3) If she is the candidate, the right will bring out all of the nastiest guns aganist her and the Democrats.

In regard to her vote for the war. I think many of you must forget the times surrounding this vote. Bush had wipped up a patriotic furvor and fear in this country. Remember everyone running around with the sickening litle FLAG lapel pins. Remember "Your with Us or Aganistt Us".

At the time of this vote, How many of you called you congressional representative to protest? How many wrote letter or e-mails in protest? Where are the anti war protests on the streets? There seems to many gutless wonders sitting at their computers critizing Hillary and the Democrats for not ending this war. The Vietnman war ended because we took to the streets!

My aging friends had a converstaion this last weeknd about why there weren't any large protests or outrage. Our conclusion is the absence of the draft. The very first protests in the 60s aganist the Vietnam Conflict were liberal middle an upper class parents protesting their boys being drafted. Then it grew as freinds and family got drafted. Now liberal middle and upper class boys and girls are not being drafted. Now we have an all volunteer military. It is their JOB so no one seems to care. If liberals really cared they would be on the streets protesting.

In today's letter to the editors of our regional newspaper,

tThe decine of United States was compared to Rome. The cause of the decline of Rome and thus teh U.S according to the author of the letter was homosexuals and abortionists.

I atribute our decline to the rise of the religious right who promote the lack of intelligent discussion, and disregard proven science.

The decline is very visible if you watch the Republican debates.

I think it is still possibel AJ can enlist. After all the military is already scraping the bottom of the barrel and it has been reported that the Military is now disreagarding criminal records as they are so desparate to enlist soldiers.

The right hate Bill and Hillary because they are both smart politicains who consistenlty out wit the right.They especially hate Hillary beacuse she is a woman that represents all that the white boys hate. She is smart,was a successful lawyer and good mother at the same time. She is independent, tough, assertive and a sucessful popular Senator which really riles them. AND, I beleive Hillary secretly loves that she riles the RIGHT. She threatens the very core of the coservative white man.... A threat to the white conservtive male's insecurity surronding his masuculinity. She threatens the conservative female because Hillary is powerful on her own. She does not need to hide behind her man.

The left fears Hillasry because they are afraid, if she wins the nomination, the Democrats will loose.

All this fear created by as bunch of insecure males.

I especially like the point for taxing those who or have more than 2 children. A concept that needs to be explored to control global warming.
