Obama has been closing on the polls. In WI the poll showed Hilalry and Obama very close, yet Obama won by a big margin. Hillary has never won by the margins that Obama has won by,not even in her own state of NY.

Obama has more volunteers, more people on the ground, a consistent message, and well managed campaign. Obama continues to draw record crowds, and speaks in more venues large and small. Obama has more endorsements in OH & TX., more money to advertise.

Maybe Hillary will win, in Oh, but she has never won by a Big margins in any state so she still could not catchup to him in delegates. Obama has a much better chance of beating McCain because Hillary will rile up the republican right to vote. Hillary makes big promises, but Obama is much more than just promises. He has substantive and doable proposals on the issues.

If Hillary loses n March 4, and I think she will, she should be gracious and drop out. The Democrats do not need a fight and the kind of divisiveness the HRC camapaign provides. Former President Clinton will loose all dignity if she stays in just to fight.

I'm a woman over 60, a feminist, with a 30+ years sucessful career. I have put up with my share of the "old boys" bull over the years. Howeever I find it very aggravating when women suggest those of us who criticize or suggest Hillary get out of the race are picking on her because she is a woman.

I would not vote for Hillary just because she is a woman as it VERY STUPID REASON to vote for her. She is not being criticized by anyone because she is a woman. She is losing..count. She has a mismanaged campaign. An experienced woman should be able to handle losing. If she wants to count bill's experience as her own, then she must also take responsibility for the decisions made during the 90s.

I had a lot of respect for Hillary before this campaign started, but as the months have gone my respect for her has diminished. I've seen her give very good political speeches in the past. But in this camapaign I have seen her sob, and put orchestrated emotional moments like the closing at the last debate. That was not the real Hillary. Hillary's explosion on stage a few days later ranting about the flier from the Obama campaign and scolding "Shame on You" was totally outrageous. Talk about how condescending. He just beat her at her own game. Now she belittles Obama's "inspirational" speeches. This is not how experienced professional women should act. This is not being assertive or acting in a dignified manner as a president should. It is a campaign is descending into very murky waters.

Listen I'm no dude. I am a woman, a feminist. I voted for Obama because he has the experience and has real leaderhip abilities.

Yes, I know some men that rather vote for McCain than Hillary, but it is not because she is a woman, It is because of Bill and her close connection to his political strategies good and bad. Obama is getting more votes because he is a progressive. Progressive Democrats never liked Bill Clinton and many see Hillary is just an extension of Bill's presidency. Hillary is "republican lite".

All I can say is no woman will be able to run again for years after Hillary's campaign, as she has made us all look bad. Hillary's camapaign strategies have reinforced all the negative stereo types used against women over the years in business: ranting one day, using emotional ploys the next, using your husbands experience and not your own. She hould have stayed on message, used her own experience, and spoke confidently instead of in rage. Her condescending rage over the last few days have given credence to the B factor.

  • Lossing Middle class

[Read the article: "The dangerous protectionism of Barack Obama"]

I don't see Obama's views on NAFTA or his new proposal to be isolationist. After all most industrialized nations have protections for their own citizens. His proposals are good for the environment and workers both here and abroad.

The new Global economy for the U.S. means we are importing more goods than than we exporting. Is this good for our economy?

Obama has been very clear when speaking to worker in Ohio that some manufacturing jobs have just disappeared because they are obsolete. He wants to protect new jobs created by new green technologies from going over sees. It used to be that unskilled and skilled workers who could not afford a college education could get some technical training and get a good paying job, then send the next generation to college. Right now this is in reverse. Instead young people are forced to go into the milatary to try and get an education now, and that is now turning out to be a bad proposal.

We are losing our middle class in the United States. Democracy depends on a Strong middle class. If we keep giving corporations and the very wealthy tax breaks we will have NO tax base, the gap will wide even, more and this may give rise to a revolution.
