Clinton Caping Desperate
[Read the article: Clinton's "win-at-all-costs strategy"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Talk about desperate tactics. I was rather amused when I heard Hillary's accusations of plagiarism against Obama. The very night of the WI dinner I heard the Lt Gov. of WI in her speech introducing Hillary say: "... and Hillary has a "Blue Print for Change" I just groaned thinking here they go again stealing Obama's phrases and ideas. On 1/11/08 I downloaded a 60 page document from the Obama site entitled "The Blue Print For Change ,Barack Obama's Plan for America".
In addition just 2 days before the WI dinner I heard Hillary giving a speech shouting at the top of her lungs "Yes We Will, Yes We Will" over and over again. However no one in her audience was shouting it back. Obama could do many AD the clips with Hillary's plagiarism of Obama lines.

It is winning at All costs
[Read the article: Clinton's "win-at-all-costs strategy"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hillary rather win at all costs than see the Democratic party united around a dynamic candidate. It is Obama not Hillary who is bringing back Democrat voters, and brining in new voters. If Hillary wins the most pledged delegates from the popular vote then and only then does she deserve to get the Super delegates and vice versa. I already know many long-time Democrats who are threatening to sit out if Hillary is the candidate. If she pulls the super delegates stunt or try to bring the MI & FL delegates to the convention. You will see a large defection from the party. Only the those who love divisiveness will be left.
I know Republican who will vote for Obama over McCain in November, but will not cast a vote for Hillary.

One more point
[Read the article: Clinton's "win-at-all-costs strategy"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Clinton's complaining about the press reminds me of Richard Nixon.
Until Super Tuesday, we hardly saw anything in the newspapers or heard much on TV about Obama. It was all about Hillary.
It was not until he fooled all of you who thought Hillary was a shoe in, did the media even start covering the Omama campaign. Hillary recevied no negative news until she made the fatal mistake of putting Bill and his administration on stage in NH, and hen Bill inserted race into the campaign.
Truth is Obama is a more dynamic speaker and has a more efficiently managed campaign. Hillary should just try to be herself instead of attempting to imitate Obama.
Oh but maybe she is being herself..win at all costs.

Speaking of myths
[Read the article: Bowling for votes in Wisconsin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Myth One: Most of Obama's supporters are all young idealistic voters. Just review the crowds of thousands at his rallies. Young old, black white, Asian, it's not just youth. I am a female over 60 long time Democrat. When I went to the volunteer centers in CA. there were hundreds of people my age signing up to be precinct captains and we are still making calls across the country.
Myth Two: Obama supporters are just caught up in his rhetoric. I am supporting Obama because I like his pragmatic approach to issues: His health care proposal is more realistic. His Foreign Policy more thought out, not just a re hash of th 90s. He has actually helped pass on legislation that supported working and middle class.
Myth three. He is young and inexperienced. Obama is older than Bill Clinton was in 1992, and has more expereicne than bill did. Older that JFK when he became president. Obama has MORE actual grass roots and years in elected office than Hillary. Age does not necessarily mean you are wiser.
Myth Three: Hillary is Liberal. Obama is a true liberal. Hillary is a centrist pretending to be liberal. Just look at her 7 year voting record, compared to Obama's 11 year voting record.
Myth Four: Hillary is a feminist. Only when convenient. Look at Obama's record in IL. He helped pass legislation that helped women economically,in health care, on domestic violence issues, and on pro-choice issues.

failed math test?
[Read the article: Bowling for votes in Wisconsin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hillary not only borrows from Obama's speeches, she borrows her experience from her her husband's presidency.
The Clinton PR machine constantly repeats that Obama lacks experience and substance, then the press repeat it. I have not heard Hillary provide any details. She says she has "solutions" , but all she gives is big promises. Since IA every time Obama has come out with a his position on an issue, Hillary follows, copies him, then claims he is coying her.
Don't keep repeating the bull Obama has not substance. Those of us who have done our home work know better. I got a 60 page document entitled "Blueprint For Change" from Obama's web site on 1/11/08. This document contains specifics on the following issues: ETHICS,HEALTH CARE, ECONOMY, SENIORS, EDUCATION, ENERGY, FISCAL, RURAL, WOMEN, IMMIGRATION, SERVICE, CIVIL RIGHTS, FOREIGN POLICY, VETERANS. It outlines each issue, with an introduction; Problem, Solutions and his EXPERIENCE on the issue and a links to speeches, given long before Hillary even discussed these issues. It is pragmatic and thoughtful.

Is David Brooks delusional
[Read the article: Quote of the day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Considering that Obama's supporters appear to smarter than the average bear, it would seem to suggest we do our home work and are not easily hood winked by hope alone.
A week ago Brooks seemed to be pretty high Obama hope himself. Maybe it is he who has descend to the dark side. I don't take much stock in that psychological bull anyway. I too practical for that.... Why I support Obama.
