Quite the opposite

Frankly I thought Krugman was talking about Clinton followers. In all the posts it appears to me it is the Clinton crowd that is angry and be mad as hell that their 'anointed" candidate is not winning by big margins. They somehow think HIllary is entitled because she is a woman and a Clinton. I made phone cals on behalf of Obama in my precinct and Hillary suppporters nearly bit my head off. I was amazed at their hostility.

This is no Obama cult. I thought very carefully before I decided who I would support and looked at all the candidates, the issues, experience, and ability to win in NOV. Obama rated A on all I'm a long time Democrat and not voting for Obamsa because he is a black man. I am voting for him because he is the best qualified candidate and we desperately need new leadership and new voters in the Democratic party. Obama voters are intelligent, positive, and not negative. We are not following blindly.

I think it has been decades since the United States has had a dynamic leader. None of the leaders we have had since the 60s has made a dent in history. The poplulation has become so cynical, from the lack of good leadership that they scoff at the 'inspirational' draw of Obama. However it took inspirational leaders to push a generation to fight for free speech, civil rights, women's rights, a protest an uncessary war. I was a part of that generation and I see the same qualities in Obama.

Obama is a uniter. I have more faith that Obama will encourage his voters to support Hillary if she wins, but I have little faith Hillary will do the same.

Speaking of delusion

As a feminist one of the issues I have with Hillary is the fact she has not run on her own experience, but her connection to Bill. I lost a lot of respect for her because of this. Obama is not "thin" on experience and in fact has more experience in elected office and legislative issues than Hillary.

I think they are both higly qualified and we are lucky to have two good candidates. I won't be so stupid as to not vote for Hllary is she wins, even if I have to hold my nose and do it.

However why don't Hillary supporters get that Bill is her problem and that she has not been a feminist until she thought it was politically correct. If Hillary had not hooked her election to Bill's experience, and his tenure in the 90s and then I might like her more. To me this hurts women. She continues to evoke the 35 years experience and connection to the 90s. She claims to have worked for the Children's Defense Fund, when she was a corporate tax lawyer for Rose law firm her entire time in Arkansas. Why hasn't she ever mentioned the Rose law firm?

Yes I think she is unfairly attacked sometimes, but so is Obama. She linked her experience to Bill so she has has to expect it. The attacks from the right will be worse if she wins the nomination, and yes we will have to relive the 90s again.

Matt Gonzales oh please

There is no comparison to Matt Gonzales an Obama. Matt is a nutty liberal Obama has substance. Besides San Francisco is oddly conservative in many ways.

Love it

Great parody. This is much better video than the original 'Yes We Can" video.

I'm an strong Obama supporter but I cannot stand the "Yes We Can Video". Maybe I'm just too old, but I wish the Obama campaing would take if off of his site. I's pretty dumb.

Bolton & MCain

Bolton & McCain...talk about two bulls in a china shop.

That combination will create more enemies and make it harder for any world peace and good foreign relations.

Obama's Banana Peel?

Frankly I do not think that Hillary does bet in debates than Obama. In fact in their only one on one debate Obama did much better than Hillary.

She may be a better attack dog, but that's not debating.

Delegate count

If we leave out the super delegates, Obama is ahead in delegate count for those delegates awarded through all his wins the popular vote. If Obama needs to win and pull ahead based on the delegates vote awarded by poplular vote. Then maybe the "powers that be" will see the light and give their support to Obama. I don't think they are going to allow this to go to the convention.

However as Don Shur, a republican strategist from CA put it "Never underestimate the Clintons". Bill raises lots of money for Democrat candidates. So if Bill still maintains his power and respect within the power base of teh party, the super delegates may choose "power" over "win" ability.

Smells like the Catholic church

I remember in the 60s Ctaholic doctors would not give married Catholic women birth control. They alwasy promoted Natural Family planning. Natural family Planning works well if you want more children, but is very ineffecive if you want to plan your family.

There's not surprise here. In countries where abortion and contraception is is banned there are more maternal deaths from both child bearing and illegal abortions. They just cannot learn from the past. The "purity inquisitors" just want control and have a callous disregard for women's health and lives.

AgentBacardi ????

I'm not sure you agree with me that this is a terrible policy or are disagreeing my opinion. My "purity inquisitors" = the anti choice forces of the Catholic Church who don't give damn about women.

Unfortunate remark

Yes he should have apologized (and he did) it as a pretty bad remark, but hey Isn't Hillary suppose to be the tough one ready to take on the republicans?
