Good Debate
[Read the article: The knives come out in South Carolina]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I thought this debate was very good. One of the campaign tactics Hillary's campaign is to make Obama look weak. She is trying to prove she is strong enough to stand up the Republican attacks dogs. Obama proved he is strong. Obama proved he can stand up to any Republican attacks by standing up to Hillary's attack tactics. Of course if Hillary is the candidate the Republican are more likely to attack, as they know the Clinton's love it. What really bothers me though is no one calls her on her claim 35 years of experience. After all 35 years ago she was in college, and young republican. In her attack on Obama's, Reagan comments she claimed she (BILL) was working against republican policies in the 90s. This was a missed opportunity for Obama He sholud have pointed out she was the first lady then.
What is really amazing is Hillary's ability to spin. She accused Obama of not presenting details on his proposals, yet she has never presented any substance to hers. She clained she could not anytingon his site. Well she has not looked to far, as I printed out a 60 page PDF file off his site out lining details on each issue.
Obama's health care proposal is more likely to fly with voters.
Obam's approach to Iraq is more sensible and Hillary has taken a 180% turn on her "pull out" position since her camapaign started.
A new poll just came out in CA showing Hillary leading in CA. However among college educated voters Obama Leads. Ahha!

One more thing
[Read the article: The knives come out in South Carolina]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Democrats think about this before you vote Feb 5. How well are HIllary's claims of 35 years of experience going to fly in a general election debate against republicans? How will her total universal health care proposal fly in the general election?
How will her changing positions on Iraq fly aganist republicans in the general election. In the general election how will Bill's participation & transfer of experience to Hillary fly with progressive Democrats, Independents, and cross-over Republicans?
If McCain is the candidate, do you think Independents will vote for Hillary or Obama? If McCain is the candidate how many Republicans will cross-over to Hillary or Obama? If McCain is the candidate how many centrist Democrats will defect if Hillary is the candidate vs Obama?

Obam did answer the question
[Read the article: The knives come out in South Carolina]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Why did your Beloved Leader vote "present" over 100 times in the Illinois senate? Seriously? Is there a reason?
Obmaa dis answer this question: In IL if you support a piece of legislation voting "present" is the way you indicate you are in favor, but have problems with specific parts of the legislation that need fixed. He voted on 4,000 votes legislation in his 8 years as State Senator. Hillary's camapaing pick 2 hot button votes, one which was legislation Obama voted present. Typical Clinton tactics.

Ah isn't guilt wonderful.
[Read the article: Hey, wait -- that's my abortion!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Post-Abortion-syndrome" is another term made up by pro-lfers. This just another situation in the so-called pro-life movement were they make up terms with no medical evidence to support the claims. They are attempting creating the "guilt" among troubled people who have problems that have no relationship to abortions. It is another "blame game" where they take advantage of troubled people. How sad.
Abortion will not end if is made illegal again. If pro-lifers were really serious in their opposition to abortion they would join with pro-choice movement to reduce abortions through support of medically accurate sex ed, access to contraception and family planning.
However the "holier-than-thou" choose to keep creating misinformation instead. How moral is that?

Obama Not testy
[Read the article: Is Obama getting "testy"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama ahas been conducting a campaign built on integrity. I was glad to see him stand to the "down and dirty" Clinton campaingn tactics. It's is really sad when member so his own party is 'swift boating" him.
After the Debate Hillary has the nerve to spin this in an attempt to make him look weak. Not working. I CA am running into more "undecided" voters who have moved into Obama camp in response to by Hillary's campaign tactics. Here is CA educated people are pretty disgusted with the "35 Years of Experience" ads.
I was amused when Hillary said Obama gave no specifics on his proposals, as I had sitting on my coffee table, while watching these debate Obama's 60 page document "Blue Print for Change, which outlines the specifics of his proposals. I down loaded it from his site. Guess Hillary did not search to far for information. Of course in the next breath, Hillary offered pie-in the-sky proposals but never offered any specifics on how she planned to pay for them.
The HRC campaign is now spreading lies abut Obama's pro-ch record . All the top Democrat candidates have a 100% rating from leading pro-choice organizations, but Obama actually worked on pro-choice legislation in IL. The fact leading pro-choice leaders from the 90s have endorsed Obama and Edwards and not Hillary is pretty telling.

Hillary loves this stuff
[Read the article: Is Obama getting "testy"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Did anyone notice when Wolf treid to quell moderator the audience booing Hillary, Hillary licked lips and said" Were just getting started". She thrives on this "attack' stuff.
