  • Ramble On

[Read the article: Hillary without tears]

I do agrees that Obama is the best choice, but geez do you have to ramble on so much. Why is it we are not analizing the other candidates? Why just Hillary? Too bad somebody did not analize the Bush when he ran: The father son relationship, Buush's past drinking & drug habits, and his undiagnozed mental health issues.

How about McCain and his wife... Talk about tightly wound.

  • Why Edwards?

[Read the article: Edwards on Kerry: Don't stop thinking about tomorrow]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Why would Kerry endorse Edwards? The Edwards campaingn is all but dead. He shold drop out. Edwards negativity killed him.

Teh reason Kerry gave are exactly why I m voitng for Obama. He is brining in a lot of new voters, We need fresh blood, and he has he expereince to be president.

However the best endorsement Obama could get is Gore.

And yet, since "in the prevailing discourse on abortion in the United States" -- on both sides of the issue -- "abortion and motherhood are often regarded as opposing interests," it helps to be reminded in concrete terms.

This is not true. The reproductive rights movement has NEVER seen motherhood as an opposing interest. It is the "self righteous" propaganda of the Pro-life movement that attempts to paint pro-choice women as childless and against motherhood. The truth is most of the women involved in the pro-choice movement are mothers, many had NEVER had an abortion. Reproductive rights is more than abortion rights. It is about womens privacy rights. The right to make her private medical decisions in regard to reproductive health issues; having access to safe legal abortion; affordable birth control; and accurate information to make informed choices.

Women who are middle income and upper income are fortunate enough to get their abortions from their own OBGYN and do not have to put up with the terror and harassment by antis at clinics.

Choosing to an abortion to be able to take care of your children is a noble act. Women today are lucky they can do it legally and safely. Before Roe many of us with children, had to face unclean, undignified and unsafe conditions in order to be get an abortion.

Think about this the next election. The next president will be able to nominate a new SC justice which will change the balance for decades.

  • Thank You Francis

[Read the article: Why I'm still not for Hillary Clinton]

I am another women who is not supporting Hillary Clinto for many of the same reason stated by Francicis. My first choice is Obama. No pundit or Hillary campaingn strategist should assume HRC is going to get the "woman" vote.

Many of my friends, and family were very surprised to find out I was not supporting Hillary. They just assumed since I had been active in the pro-choice political movement in the 90s that I would support her. My feelings form the beggining: 'I hope she does not run".

Last week in the NH debate I thought she was terrible. I did not see Hilary as being strong in the debate. I saw her as reactive. Reacting in a very negative defensive mode when challenged. Her tearing up a few days later just added to my disgust, and made me groan. She reinforced all negative stereotypes about women. Thus reinforcing hat I had made the right decision not to supporting her. Yes, I wold love to see a woman as president, but Hillary is not the person I want. Why was she anointed to represent us? There are other women political leaders with more elected experience than HRC.

However, I'm supporting Obama because he brings the new fresh blood to the party, so desperately needed. It is Obama, not Hillary, brining in all the new voters. Obama is a feminist. He supports reproductive rights and all issues that help women. I also have more confidence in his ability to craft a more reasonable foreign policy strategy.

Hillary attempts to dismiss Obama's experience, yet Hillary has fewer years in elected office than Obama. She has 7 years in the U.S Senate. Obama has 11 years combined Sate and and U.S Senate. HRC blasts Obama's Hope and vision as not tied to reality, yet it was Hope, Inspiration, Idealism from leaders that lead citizens to fight for to changes in the past: Free Speech Movement, Civil Rights Movement, Woman rights Movement, Farm Workers rigths. Obama is an intelligent thoughtful person who has the ability to lead us in a new direction. he will inspire people to be invovled in change. Hillary will lead us back to the 90s.

Yes If she gets the nomination, I will vote for her but holding my nose. However I believe that if Hillary gets the nomination, we may loose all those new young voters, and the elections may go as it did in 2004.

  • Why not supporitng Hillary

I am not supporting Hillary, but it's not becaseu she staeyd with bill. I am married, I am a feminist, I have no problem with Hillry staying with bill. I could care less he did or did have an affair. He was stupid but...

The majority of woman I have heard say they don't like Hillary because she stayed with bill are not feminist. In fact I have heard this mostly from stay at home moms, who would run from being called a feminist.

  • HIllary has a PLAN?

[Read the article: Why I'm still not for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Someone said "Hillary is a realist. She has a plan."

What is her plan? I have never heard it. She claims to be more specific, but she is not. Please, please tell me what is her PLAN!
