Election reform

We need total elction reform. I would like to see the entire election limited to 6 months. Many other countries have elected new leaders in a matter in a few months wihtout all the hype, expenses and non-debates.

Taking the decisons to the people for 2 years has not given us beter candidates. The 2 parties should annoint 2 candidates to run. I long for the days of smoked filled rooms when the decisons wre made at the conventions and they actually meant something.

far left & far right and enemies

It seems as if conservatives, always need an enemy to prmote thier agenda. In the 50s, 60s, 70s, the conservative neocons had those Godless communists. The fiscal conservative's enemy was social programs and those who wanted their money for taxes. The social conservatives(far right Chrisitains) evolved from anti communists camps, and ehen communiism was no longer the enemy, they creatd a new enemy wihtin the U.S.: the Godless abortionists, gays, liberal eltites, etc. The fall of communism also left the neo-con conervatives without an enemy to justify thrwoing mney into WMDs but the rise of Godly political Islamist gave them a new international enemy. The social and neocon conservaitves merged over Iraq and now Iran. The political islamist have given both what they need: an enemy for justificaton of war and for jsutificatin of the "end times". The fiscal conservatives were abandoned by their party and many have drifted to the libertarians and then to the Democrats giving rise to centrists Democrats... Senator Hillary Clinton.

Good debate

For the first time some decent questionss were asked. Maybe because they kept the public out of the quesitons. They did a good job crafting issues questions around the latest news.

Hillary stood her ground, during the fierce attacks, proving she will be able to handle the republican BOYs. However, she never answered the challenges.

Obama did challenge Clinton, but in a manner the highligted his own strenghs, while Edwrds just attacked. Frankly I like Senator Obama's smooth jazz manner. One of the many reasons he appeals to so many is because he stays away from red meat attacks, and conducts a dignified campaign. He in fact is not afraid to layout specifics on his stands on issues, while Senator Clinton wants us to trust her and wait until she is presidient before she commits to any specifics.

Yes, I listen to Chris Dodd

If I thtought Christ Dood could win, I would vote for him. He has great values, and has done good work in the Seante. He was my first pick over Obama. I will hoever votr for obmam because I think he is the closest in values and postions on the issues to Dodd.

Here is the best ticket.

Obama/Dodd/08. First they have teh best chance to win and

the Republican's will have to retool thier hate machine.

Chirs Dood did not say Hillary had the best chance and Obama did not. He said you have to look at who has the best chance of winning

Original article: Hillary Clinton can take it

HIllary vs the men

I thought this was the best debate so far and good questions. If Senator Clinton doe win in the poimaries, she is will to have to stand up to a nasty republican campaign if it is Guiallni.

She stood up well, showing women how to deal with this kind of crap that we put up wiht all the time. I cringe everytime I here a male commnetator use the word "strident" in referecne to Hillary. What the male counterpart to that term? However, as a woman, I will not be driven to vote for her just becaseu she is attacked or is a woman. Seh di dnot anser the questions and I feel Obama has more to offer and can win a general election.

Not this woman

I frankly thought this was one of the best debates so far. Edwards only attacked but did not pint out his own strengths. I was prettyput off by his attacks. However I thought Obama did very well as he pointedhis wown strengths and the difference between himslf and Hillary.

If she does win the primaries she will need to be able to stand up to the republican candidates who are "real boys". She stood her ground very well, alhtough she did not answer the questions. I am a woman and I will not be driven to vote for Hillary just becauseof these attacks or the fact she is a woman. This woman is still voitng for Obama.

Recycled> how to dress for success

I find it all rather amusing, as it sound like "Dress for Sucess" recyled. I remember attending a meeting of "------ women in advertising" in 1979. The subject for the evening was "How to Dress for Success". The women giving the presentation had on a very dull looking blue suit. The idea was to look more like a sucessful man. The presenter suggested you could save monney on your "dress for sucess" wardrobe, by finding a friend, your size and sharing suits. I turned to a freind sitting next to me and said ' What size are you"? We almost fell off of our chairs laughing.

Godo for Obama

Once again Senator Obama shows how to conducta dignified campaign. Senator Clinton got hit with tough question just like any front runner would. She proved she can play with the "boys", and is a "politician" as she never answered the questions.

Anyone who spins this as a ploy aganist Hillary because she is a

woman is coping-out for women. I think she proved she will be able to stand up to nasty republican attack IF she wins the primaries.

Clinton and Obama remind me of of my 2 senators, Fenistein and Boxer. Hillary is like Feinstein (republican lite), and Obama is like of Senator Boxer, says what he intends to do and sticks by it. This woman will continue to support Obama.

Not this Democrate

The FEW people I know who are supporting Dennis Kucinich are spoon bending spirtualists who belevie in the 9/11 conspiracy.

No thanks.
