I don't remember

BUSH: You know, Dave, I don't remember what I was doing in 1980 -- let's see, I was living in Midland, Texas. I don't remember my reaction that far back."

t

Of course he cannot remember the 80s he was either drunk or high. After embarassing his parents at a white house fuction. His parents called on Billy Gramham to help get him dry. Consdering teh bush believes in "END time", I doubt he is really worried. He probalby sincerly belives he will be saved by the rapture.

I also find it rather disingenuous when U.S. leaders talk about nuclear threat of other nations, when we have the bigest arsenal of weapons in the world, and the U.S. is the only nation to ever drop "weapons of mass destruction" on another nation's soil.

Will bush remember his presidency. Unfortunately, like Reagan, I think Bush is in early stages of Alzheimers. I doubt he will not be quiet case, like Regasn. Bush is aleady showing signs of the "anger" that preceeds the total loss of memory.

Wow I'm in trouble

This iwll make for great jokes, in tehcoming weeks.

Coming from the 'burn your bra" geneartion I'll be more than happy to taek it off. Most of us have prefected a technique for takng off a bra without taking off a shirt. We should all just take our bras off in teh secrity lines, throw then on top of the baskets and embarass the hell out of security. Maybe it will cure them.

taking off the bra

Well it is rather dangerous to do while driving. Just reach back under you shirt, unhook the bra, then pull one strap down you arm under your sleeve then slip it over your hand, repeat with other strap. Then just pull the bra from under your shirt. Walla free at last! Then wave it at the security guard.

Why Hillary

Why is everyoje assuming taht HIllay and Rudy are oging to win the primaries. I just don't belbvie it. Amony my frinds more ar vointg for Obmama tahtn Hillary. Besides polticalundents gave the regious right to much credit for wining tha last elections. Not all Evangelicals are Christian Right. Not all Catholics agree with por-lifers. I spoke wiht CAthloics teh last time I visited relaltives in the Midwest. For one thing most of these Catholics are strong Democrat an dlong time voters, and they hate these new large music filled churches of the rigth.

I am sssuming tht people who donate money will vote and pretty repsentative of the area they live in. Here are the totals thorugh qrt. 3 of the four wealthest zip codes in Silicon Valley in CA.

(Los Altos, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside).

Hillary: 383,488

Obama: 361,924 (more new dontions)

Edwards: 123,450

Romney: 261,285 (more new donations)

McCain: 73,006

Gulliani: 59,890

Original article: Reading Barack Obama

He can bet Hillary

I think people are under estimateing the number of people who are supporting Obama. He certainly is almost even with Hillary in the 4 weatlhest zip codes in Silicon Valley in fundraising. I think he will bring a new veiw badly needed in leadership. I like the dignity with which he conducts his campaign.

Whose Values?

"Values Voters"? These people from the Crhstiatn Right are claiming that their values represent American values. As if to claim the majority then has no values. TehChristain rigth reprsent a sdmall minority of of Christains. They should be ignored. The republican only use them to get votes, but in the precess loosing many more votes to Democrats this year.

I can't watch them anymore

These are not debates, and I cannot watch these guys any more.

The R candidatesas have no new ideas. All tey can talk about is abortion and gay marrige. Of course that is all anyone ever asks.

These TV comentators are not helping the election process at all. Maybe they should read up on real debate formats an ask some relevant questions.

Original article: Earth to PETA

PETA off orginal cause

PETA has gone way beyond thier orignal purpose.

When PETA first formed they were helping to so curelty to animals locked up in science labs on college. At the time my route to some of my college clasees took me by a lab filled with howling dogs, used for ceintifice esperiments so I tought PETA was a good idea. However when they started going after farmers raising animals for the specific purpose of being killed and eaten, I thought they went too far. I grew up on a faram, even had pet lambs as a child, in fact they paid my way through college.

However lamb is one fo my favoirte meats to eat. I understand the differnce beween raising animals for food and having pets. Yes we need to cut red meat out of our diet for health purpses, but many grains vegans eat are grown with fertilizers. When I see PETA protestors outside a resturants protesting veal, I usally go in and order it.

A much better focus woudl be to start talking about popultions control as the growing population is tis biggst casue of global warming.

Good timing

Her book is released at a time when Bush/Cheney are saber rattling again and on the verge of a war with Iran. I have my doubt, even Dems in congress we can stop them.

Original article: Another Iraq invasion?

World War 3

In 1776, if we had used today's standard for declaring every revolutionary group fighting for indpendence a terrorist organization, the american revolutionaries fighting for independence from Briton would have been classified as terrorists.

All of this is going to play out into the next big war..world war 3.

Dodd goodcoice for VP

If I thought Dodd ahd a chance of winning the presdency, I would be my first choice on all issues. He has real values.

I find it rather interesting that many will not vote for Biden, Dodd and others because they have been in the Seante for so long, but on the other hand quesition Obama's experience.

I think an Obama/Dodd ticket could be a winning ticket.
