Right now HIllary is getting all the "press" attention because her name is Clinton. Each week I listen to an Obama "isues" speech. A few days later Hllary will make an issues statement, but unlike Obama she quoted in the press. Ironically she is usally using a line from "Obama's" speech. Obama is not getting the press, but he is on the streets door to door himslef in IA and other statees He is a tremendous grassroots oganizer.

Her press attntion could also be her downfall, when the Rrrrs start their usual 'dirty tricks' campaign.

This weekend at a party I polled some more freinds. The majority said they are voting for Obama. What I have noticed is that the majoirty of my white friends over 60, wealthy, advanced degrees, are voting for Obama, and many now getting involved again. He represents the "old time" liberlaism with new ideas.

The thing is in the past that many Democrats, out of fear, have voted to the center (Clinton) instead of supporting the liberal candidate. Bill Clinton was a great president, but are people voting for Bill or Hillary. When asking the few freinds I know who are voting for Hillary, why. It usally has someting to do with Bill.

My gretest fear is that on election day those now silent white boys who listen to Rush and O'Reilly's LIES, will put down ther beer cans or bible, get up off the sofa, pull their pants up over their cracks, and vote for anyone just to keep a "screeching" woman or "black" from office. The good news however is they will be countered by a large group of older voters, and "new" voters who are much more diverse and accepting of diversity, and hose libersl who will no longer voter the center.

I am always amused by those white conservative guys, who love O'reily, Dobbs and FOX, ranting online about U.S. soverenty, foreign immigrant invasion, and screeching females. Yet FOX is owned by Rupert Murdoch... a foreinger, and his "daughter" not son, is taking over his Empire.

Ron paul sound pretty crazy in the debates. I heard him interviewed on PBS "News Hour". The interveiws on News Hour are the only rational, informative interviews being conducted with the candidates from both parties. I do agree wihthim about Iraq, and through the first quarter of the interview he seemd more reasonable. However as the interview pproressed every question was ansered wiht a statment about Iraa even whenit had no connection to Iraq.

Early in the intrview Paul stated he was in favor of complete freedom, but later when asked about abortion, Ron Paul stated he would get ride of Roe v Wade, then in the next breath he said we can't totally get rid of abortion, and legal abortion is safer, but it should be a state issue and should be regulated. He sad we should get rid of Roe because it allows abortion any time for any reason.

Besides this MIS-informaiton spread by Ron Paul and other republican candidates why are they disregarding women's most basic right-reproductive choice. I wonder how candidaes can even discuss freedom wihtout including women's most basic civil rights and freedom.

Unsafe, Illigal abortions casued lots of deaths and reproductive health issues for women before ROE. Before Roe abortion was legal in some and illlegal in others. Roe made eh laws uniform, andnow tey are being chipped. Under Roe abortion became safe, and legal abortion is regulated under medical laws. Roe does NOT allow abortions for any reason any time in pregnancy. This is the biggest LIE in this debate about abortion.

Sounds as if Rush is as parnoid as Nixon.

Rush lost it long ago. The people whoe believe Rush have to be as nutty as Rush. It might be beneifical if his "legal drugs" dealer to got him more effective drugs.

The president of Iran does not have the power in Iran that Bush/Cheney attributes to him. He is just a media seeking nut. Of course two nuts can make for war. I just hope we get the Bush/Cheney neocons contingent out of office before they start World War 3. Our nut Bush does beleive in "End Times" and it will be end times for sure if we have a another big war. Let's not forget World War 1 started in the middle east. Of course the Democrats supporting the Armenian case wil also contribute.

Iran's has as a highly educated popuation, is ripe for more freedom and we need to cultivate Iran instead of demonizing them. I just hope we elect a president who will craft a better international relations with Iran and other middle eastern countries, restart the disarmement agrees that Bush has ignored, and get rid of our plans for a missle defense system in the former Eastern bloc countries. We have already set up military bases in former Soviet Union countires close to Russia

and this is making Russia restart their nucleur programs.

We have distanced our selves from the rest of the world and I don't think Giuliani will help our internatinal relations. Hillary will have a beter chance, but I still think she is "hawk lite". Oou best chance for thoughtful foreign ralations is Obama. He is the only canddiate to make a statment about nuclear disarmament
