  • Another conservative out of touch

[Read the article: If we leave Iraq, do we lose for good?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The independent coservative is just another of the 40% who continue to beleive the Bush Lies. Goes to show you just how stupid teh American public can be. So he tinks this andminstraton is more ethical than Clinton's. There have been more serious ethical breeches in the bush administration than in any other presedency. This president seem to think he IS the government. Bush forgets this is a government "of the People; by the People; and for the People". Unfortunately the only people Bush is RULING for is the Chrisitain right and Neo conservatives. His policies say " the hell to the rest of you".

The statement "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists" - is one of the main reason we have lost so much repsect in Europe, as this was directed at France and Germany.

However just listneing to Bush is an embarrasement adn adds to this disresepct. I can only imagine what other leaders are saying in private about our MORON of a Leader.

Anyone who still believes or ever did beleive that Iraq had aay connection to 9/11 is a complete moron. The U.S.created a training ground in Iraq for terrorist that did not exist until after our invasion. Terrorism can best be addressed by stopping our interference in the middle East. Leaving Vietnam had no negative consequences. Leaving Iraq behind will enhance our standing in the world, but we need to rebuild our Dipmloacy, and it will take time to rebuild what the Bush adminstration has distoryed.

  • Another pont

The Bush adminstraton knows they have lost in Iraq. Their new goal is to leave this mess to the next adminstration, so the blame can be put on them.

  • And one more point.

[Read the article: If we leave Iraq, do we lose for good?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"In WWII half a million American lives were paid to stop a growing world wide threat. Today, Terrorism is indeed a world wide threat and what has been the 'cost' in terms of American lives?"

This comparions to WWII is just idiotic. First WWII was a war lead by one conntry-Gemrany. Veitnam was Ho Che Mein trying to unite Veitnam. He was not ring to spread communism to teh U.s. Todays' terrorist have no one country. Iraq was not even connectd to the terrorist before we invaded it. Terrorism cannot be fought with troops. Most terrists acts have been targetted and middle esterners. Thecountries in tehmiddle east will ahve to stand up to teh terrists in thier own nations. However we canot blame the current leadership in Iraq for this failure , after all we helped install them. teh majority of educated and wealthy people have left Iraq. De-Bathification was a failure. Maybe if we leave, they can come back and bring some stability to thier country.

  • Revoutionaries ntow called terroists

[Read the article: Inside the minds of killer doctors]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"For caring professions to produce terrorists is hardly unprecedented."and don't forget Che Guevara, educated as a doctor.

Middle Eastern terrorist who are committing suicide and blowing up innocent people should nto be compared to Che or any other revoutionary. Yes, Che was a doctor from a wealthyy family. He becme a "relvoultionary" when he saw proverty in his country while worknig as a pre-med student. He wanted to make life better for the poor. He was not a terrorist. Even the Irish IRA warned the British offcials when they were going to blow up a place, so innocent people would not be hurt. They were revolutinaries, not terrists. Using today's conservative defintion of a terrorist would mean the " Colonist who revolted aganist British rule to create our democarcy would be consdered terrorists, ot revolutionaries.

  • Unbelievable sexsim & sterotyping

[Read the article: Hillary is from Mars, Obama is from Venus]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The author of this article is a blatant sexist.

He just reinforced the age-old stereotypes.

    (1) Strong articulate women are masculine.

    (2) Men who share equality with their wives, speak clearly and softly are femanine.

Frankly men like Obama are much more sexy, and masculine the the "machos" of the world.

  • Why is this so hard?

[Read the article: Empty thine in-box]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    tsi is NOT rocket sicence.

I learned early on after offending a few people, that e-mail can come across badly, if you assume you can use it like conversation. Sincewe do not have the voice itonation or viusal expression with e-mail that we have in person e-mail can sound offensive or take on a different meaning than intended.

Therefore most e-mails I write like "short" letters.

I cannot stand long convaluted e-mail-or "letter to editors"

When people started sending me stupid jokes, I just told them to stop or NEVER respond. I never open mail unless I know the person sendingit. I have all my mail aatomatically deleted from the server every 60 days, and I put those I want to save in folders. Since I now get so much SPAM mail, I delete all other mail immeditely and empty my deleted folder

twice a day and clear out the addreess that are not in my address book once a week.

I suspect the only people who can't manage ther e-mail are the same types who let their snail mail pile up for weeks, or leave it in the mailbox.

  • And another thing,

[Read the article: Empty thine in-box]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

After reading some of the letters it became apparent to me, that many people spend too much time on e-mail and cell phones.

I suspect there are a lot of non-productive employess who are spending too much time text messaging and on cell phones.

Every time I am in public and see a person constantly on thier cell sending messages ot talking, I think to myself they need to get a life.

I was in business long before faxes and e-mail, so I learned

time management techniques. If you answer every phone call or message immediately you are not being productive. When I first started communcating through e-mail with my clients. Not every phone message or e-mil needs to be answered immediately. If you getting hundreds of e-mails for work ow does aayone do any porductive work?
