The problems of most vice crimes could be reduced significantly with legalization.

  • Please lolcait and others

[Read the article: The crazy uncles in Obama's attic]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

We already know that Clinton and McCain have no shortcomings and that a man lucky enough to be half-black in America should show his gratitude by becoming an Episcopalian. Please add something new to the discussion.

  • This one looks good

[Read the article: The lost "Profit"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The first serial 'premise' show I remember taking off was the 1995 Murder One. I am sure it was a Bocchco production.

  • Well, Shawn

[Read the article: The Democrats' anti-momentum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Obama will probably lose to McCain. Clinton CERTAINLY would have lost to McCain, but we don't have to worry about that now. That's just plain fact.

  • Mr. Manjoo

[Read the article: Another home trashed through Craigslist ad]

That would be 'not I,' (as in) it would not be I that would go after you for obsessive behavior.

  • Limbaugh Democrats

[Read the article: A boom in Democratic registrations]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It only adds to the bandwagon effect, which in Pennsylvania and everywhere else has been both anti-Republican and pro-Democrat. mcCain will be a formidable candidate anyway, so it is stupid for Republicans to sign up in hopes of changing the outcome. They do more harm to their cause.

But with Hillary at 49% disapproval and 44% trustworthy in the polls she is a guaranteed loser to McCain (although I will vote for her enthusiastically).

There is a good chance Obama can overcome his bad week and still be competitive.

  • So

shouldn't Clinton's closest friends and advisers be urging her to work on her Senate legacy? In ten more days everyone in North America is going to hate her.

  • True WES

[Read the article: Sen. Bob Casey climbs on Obama's bus]

But he loses by a smaller margin than Clinton and doesn't hurt down-ticket races.

  • Good try, Billcap

[Read the article: A big lead for Obama in new Gallup poll]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

But her negatives continue to go up (weren't we promised that couldn't happen, that she had been "vetted" or something)? If Clinton continues much longer she will be despised -- I know this and I voted for her.

  • The 527's

[Read the article: A pivotal day for the Democrats?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

an aim at either of them -- any idea that one or the other is more electable in the general is just speculation. Since we are all speculating anyway -- if rules and credentials are manipulated and it even APPEARS that Clinton stole the nomination then many down ticket races will go to Republicans that shouldn't have. Obama is the guy who is registering new voters for the dems.

  • Arrrrrrrrgggghhhh!

[Read the article: Obama is wrong about the gas tax]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You millions of cult-worshipping morons are letting this clueless phony steal the nomination!

  • We don't have the evidence

[Read the article: How will Barack Obama get to 270?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

that Obama can't beat McCain. We have all the evidence we need that Shawn and Kate will never again add anything of note to this discussion. My God, their stupidity is sucking the life out of my children even as I write this.

  • Thank goodness we can ignore the polls,

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The first time I worked on a political campaign was for Lyndon Johnson. Back then campaign professionals talked about the advantages of debates for the guys running behind. I doubt you are democrats anyway, but just in case you are unaware of that basic campaign strategy I thought I would clue you in.

Lily, when you repeat empty blogging points from months ago you just come off as stupid and boring. Please don't be so stupid and boring as to try and deny this.

  • OK, so you really ARE going to stay home or vote for McCain
