PALIN'S EAR BLEMISH

EARMARKS AND OTHER PALIN BLEMISHES

Having hurled ceaseless and groundless personal insults at Governor Sarah Palin and her family with no concrete results, Obama and his Merry Mob of Mudslingers are now zeroing in on earmarks. Indelicately, it’s like they’re throwing cow chips against a barn wall to see which one sticks.

This time, Obama, rather than hiding behind his surrogates who have been leading the attacks, thereby giving the Anointed One the ability to perch above the fray and appear “presidential," is leading the charge on the issue of earmarks.

Not one to succumb to introspection nor one to be bothered by his own personal and political hypocrisy, Obama is now bleating that Palin is a hypocrite.

Appropriately in ”a large barn” in Terre Haute, Indiana, Obama charges that Palin as Alaska governor has been riding the Earmark Gravy Train along with him and Senator Biden: http://news.aol.com/elections/article/obama-rebukes-palin-on-earmarks/153822?icid=200100397×1209110649x1200521859. In the earmark context, he doesn’t mention his opponent, Senator John McCain, since McCain has eschewed the pork barrel for as long as he has been a politician. Instead, in a typical non-sequitur, he criticizes Palin then launches into the prime and already tired and theme of his campaign, linking McCain to George Bush.

On Palin, he said, “she pretends to oppose spending earmarks when she actually has embraced them,” which is much like his pretending not to know Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn, and the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright when he actually has long been in bed with them.

If I had to choose, I’d choose Palin’s pretending over Obama’s. His pretenses are downright scary!

You have to give Obama some credit, though, for spouting lines such as this with a straight face: “Come on! I mean, words mean something, you can’t just make stuff up.”

To quote Charley Brown, “Good grief!”

Let’s take a brief look on this whole question of earmarks....

THE SCARY PRESS

The liberal, leftist press corp isn't scary.

That is, unless one feels that tens of thousands of new "journalists," so indoctrinated by leftist professors that they despise the country in which they get their paychecks, are scary.

That is, unless one feels that their mentors, old "journalists," have become so jaded and cynical that they would prefer to destroy their country rather than truly "change" it are scary.

Nevermind, good title. The press corps is VERY scary!!

PALIN'S PASTOR PROMOTES PEDOPHILIA--AND OTHER LIES

They’ve already attacked her daughter, Bristol, and most people attacked the attackers because of those attacks.

They’ve said she has no experience to be vice president and it turns out she has more administrative experience than Obama or Biden combined.

They’ve floated rumors about her “affairs” and her husband’s “affairs,” suggested that baby Trig wasn’t her baby, dug up a twenty year old DUI on her husband, and they’re probably planning to say that she worked her way through college by hooking in Juneau since nothing else has succeeded in smearing Governor Sarah Palin.

In the interim before publishing the hooker lie, they’re focusing on her pastor and trying to get her to repudiate him just as Obama repudiated Reverend Wright.

Alex Koppelman calls it in Salon.com, “Sarah Palin’s Pastor Problem: http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/09/05/pastor/index.html.

Aside from the alliterative appeal of that title, the reason for this “problem,” according to Koppelman, is that her pastor, Larry Kroon, invited Jews for Jesus founder, David Brickner, to speak at his church in August. In fact, that was his second such sermon at Kroon’s church.

Brickner went on to preach about terrorism in Israel, from a Jews for Jesus perspective. For his complete sermon and reactions to it, see: http://blog.beliefnet.com/stevenwaldman/2008/09/palin-the-jewish-vote.html. Many of those who did react were Jews who offered nothing but praise for Brickner, although that didn’t phase the Obamaniacs.

Koppelman implies that an invitation to Brickner, okay, two invitations, is the equivalent of Barack Obama sitting quietly in the pews of Trinity United Church of Christ, contributing thousands of dollars to that church, and listening to and absorbing the hate speech of Reverend Jeremiah Wright for twenty years.

He implies that a profoundly religious organization such as Jews for Jesus, with which he evidently disagrees, in some way resembles Wright’s racist, separatist, un-American church where Wright would regularly spew his bile.

He implies that Governor Sarah Palin should denounce her pastor because Obama publically, and finally, repudiated his, under pressure after previously referring to him as a close friend and advisor.

He implies that Brickner’s preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be compared to a man who ranted, from his pulpit, that his congregation should sing “God Damn America,” rather than, “God Bless America” and that America deserved September 11th, 2001.

For some clips of Wright on a rant, see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M-kD0QdRJk.

Koppelman, Salon.com, and the rest of Obama’s slimesters would be better off embellishing the Sarah-was-a-hooker fabrication. Then they could visit some porn sites and contend it was research.
