  • Obama an Isolationist?

[Read the article: Denouncing, rejecting at the Democratic debate ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

That's a pretty paranoid position. However I do hope we don't get neo-conned again.

  • Grooming another Clinton for the presidency?

[Read the article: A future President Clinton?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Talk about ambition! Hillary isn't doing os well, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.

  • No more pimpin' out!

[Read the article: A future President Clinton?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    Please!

  • Underwear?

[Read the article: Quote of the day: Obama on boxers vs. briefs]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What underwear? A man likes to feel comfortable.

  • Obama bests Clinton again

[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Here in Texas it looks like latino women are keenly listening to Obama. Maybe you have to be more than a

"mujer" to be a good candidate. Maybe it takes more than ovaries to win the primaries.

  • Bitter, Privledged, Female, White...

[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Fight Fight Fight Fight Fight Fight Fight!

  • You're from Houston?

[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

So am I. An insiders conference is something that seems right up Hillary's alley, lots of lucrative possibilities. By the way, you're the first Houstonian for Clinton I've come across, and I had to find one on the internet of all places. Anyway, I think east Texas is easy Obama territory, it might be a more mixed call in the south of the state.

  • I've never seen anyone make less of race than Barack Obama

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This New Republic opinionator is at best a liar, at at the very least an exaggerator. Obama has run his campaign free in total and utter avoidance of divisive dogma.

  • I hear that...

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

they're printing opinion pieces in the New Republic on recycled pages made up of horseshit.

  • Hellbent, and just get a whiff of that scent...

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

..If it looks like horseshit, and if it smells like horseshit, then it's probably horseshit.

  • It isn't a gender problem for me

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If Nancy Pelosi put her name on a ballot I'd be behind her, but with Hillary Clinton you get a grudgeful, graceless, grinch. I decline that candidate thank you very much. Wha many femenists fail to acknowlege, probably willfully, is the fact the Clinton is an emblem of an old administration, and one thing that isn't resonating in these days of dull stagnation, is going back to old days, and old ways.

  • Probably what's the problem with Obama from where you're sitting...

[Read the article: Denouncing, rejecting at the Democratic debate ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

...is the fact that he'll probably win the primary. Don't despair, join the 21st century.

  • The New Republic..

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    The new toilet paper.

  • Excuses for Clinton

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Maybe if the media were'nt so mean...maybe if Bill had stayed home...maybe if men gave her more of a chance...maybe if she'd received Ted Kennedy's endorsement....maybe this whining diatribe could wind out for another decade.

    Invite another maybe..

    Maybe SHE JUST SUCKS.

  • Poor Tim Baird, Gettin' People Scared

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    Whip 'em up Tim!

  • Regarding "Reality" Counts

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You have a warped reality and an extremist's mentality. Can you give us some more tantalizing tabloid exerpts from the secret stores of the repositors of reliable reality from the insaniac inner sanctums of the illuminati? You are an insipid twit. You read racism into what it is convenient for you to read racism into. In this case the ressurection and resucitation of a flogged to fucking death failed bid by Hillary Clinton to become president of the United States. Hillary blew it all by her lonesome, so don't go looking for little green men to explain things away.

  • To AKA Smith and the whole Character Assasination Lynch Squad

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

We know it grieves ya, but nobody believes ya.

  • Intimidation in Texas?

[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What about the vadalizing of Obama headquarters in Longview? I mean that actually happened. I'm sorry but clearly we live in two different Texas. Nobody is being harrased for supporting Hillary. All of us who vote cast a secret ballot which pretty much secures our freedom to vote for whoever we want. Anyway, I'm voting for Obama and no Obama supporters that I know are gathering into intimidation cliques or goon squads. You sound just a little bit looney to me.

  • I said it once, I'll say it twice...

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

..horseshit is horseshit at any price.

  • Hypocracy from politicians?

[Read the article: Are Barack Obama and John McCain hypocrites?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    You gotta be kidding!

  • I don't know about erudition but here's a little aliteration...

[Read the article: In death, William F. Buckley prompts search for big words]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    What a windbag he was!

  • I still don't see strong evidence of a Clinton surge in Houston

[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I do though see a lot of sour Hillary supporters.

  • Cool it Kotex!

[Read the article: Clinton, Obama fundraising soars ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I don't care if you send your money to the rotting corpse of Jefferson Davis. And being as uptight with Obama as you are I wouldn't be surprised if you did. So where ya'll at in New Awlins? And another thing "dawlin," do i really care?

  • pieceofcake,

[Read the article: Is Obama playing the race card?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I think you gave AKASmitty a good solid argument against her bankrupt assertions. But why argue with a cranky old contrarian school teacher whose grasp of the modern world from a small, sheltered, Texas town, doesn't really add up to squat? I admire your patience for putting up with such an insufferable, whitebread, whiner. I hope her championing of Hillary Clinton's candidacy makes her so happy she could shit. Others however, are moving on. The world doesn't stand still for stuffy old school marms stranded in the Victorian era. She make think her sophistry is an asset and a strength, but it ain't really at all, when you appreciate its verbosity and its length.

  • God save queen...

[Read the article: Hillary at twilight]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    she ain't no human being...they made you a moron...potential H-bomb!

  • No "Hell Yeah!" for Hillary

[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

And whose fault is that? Clinton and her supporters can look to themselves for the answers.

  • Natalie Portman in another period piece?

[Read the article: "The Other Boleyn Girl"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I was going to see "Goya's Ghost" just because I love Milos Foreman's movies, but when I read that Natalie Portman was at the heart of the story my interest came to a stop. Her awful English accent in "V For Vendetta" was unbelievably put on and phoney. Now here is Portman again in a role where an English accent is required. Her sort of stick figure femeninity doesn't leave me feeling awed, interested, engaged, or believing that she is a "great beauty," which is about all her fans have to say about her. It takes more than being a pretty paper doll to give a performance.

  • Well we'll see...

[Read the article: Hillary at twilight]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

18 to 30 year olds been more motivated to vote more so than ever before. There's a lot of frustration with where the enlightened "idealism" of baby boomers has brought us.

  • Well don't worry...

[Read the article: Hillary at twilight]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

,,many of us are just about of patience with you.

  • "conspiring to create a god?"

[Read the article: Hillary at twilight]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Are you conspiriring to win the candidacy for crazy?

  • Belated expressions of regret...

[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Won't bring back 4000 dead American soldiers. You say she got fooled into voting for the invasion of Iraq? Do you want a gulible dupe as commander in chief? I'd rather turn over a brand new leaf.

  • What's wrong with Obama being the candidate of the young?

[Read the article: Hillary at twilight]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Didn't the Clinton have their day in the sun? I think that day is now over and done.

  • It's time to take aim..
