Lookit...Lip up People!

It's six weeks until the Penn state primary. Yeah it's gonna be ugly, Hillary's gonna go gung-ho in an all out effort to gain ground. She's gonna go head hunting any which wily way she can. Be that as it may, if Obama keeps his cool, reasoned, rational composure, without descending into the dim and dumb grotesqueries that Hillary is gonna try to drag down into, then it is strongly possible that he'll prevail and win the day. Clinton is gonna try to throw O.B. off balance and bite hard with all of the bile inside her that she's worth, but I still think he can emerge from it all on top, resonably clean, and ready for the rusty old rebublican machine. Remember the guy's name? His name is McLame. Do not despair, there's a new mood in the air, make the most of it.

Maybe so, or maybe they just bitch a lot.

Once upon a time in the White house...

I once had a taste of the Hillary experience, and I must say, she made one wonderful cup of coffee. That's the kind of experience that made me know from day one, she has all of the vetted experice I could ever want. Clinton Decaffinated. When "real" experience is a must, it's the brand you can "trust."

I don't know about Hillary's white house "experience..."

But she sure could serve up one heck of a cup of coffee in the west wing back in the old days. I prefered Hillary's decaffinated personally, it's a little less bitter and edgy, although not by much.

Hillary in the House?

Old stale, stanky, loaf 'o wonderbread is more like it.

Hardcore Harlan

I wouldn't wanna read the little She-Hobbit's shit either. Like it or not, no bullshit with Ellison. I remember back in the day when he refered to the lame legion of Star Wars freaks at conventions as "retarded." Hyper spaced out Sci-fi and fantasy geeks always get a good groin punch they goddamn well deserve, stuck in their stunted states of alternative reality. I love the son of bitch. Yeah, fuck youe effin' your elf, I'm Ellison you asshole. Know the difference.

Check out L.Q. Jone's Movie adaptation of "A Boy and His Dog"

It's better than "I am Legend." It's sick, satirical, dark, smart, and very funny. It's a bleak look into the lives of a boy {Don Johnson) and his dog, in the aftermath of an atomic war which has wiped out the world as we knew it, shortly after the big disillusion of the American century went up in in a puff.

Funny...

Figures! Looks like Harlan has again stepped on the holy toes of a few thin skinned Hobbits out there in Drizzleyland. Like he'd ever really give a shit. For some, fantasy fiction and television are a full time pursuit, a place to live their full time lives. I always like it when Ellison pops these people's bubbles, insulated from everything around them as they are, self involved idiots, stuck in the CGI of their everday reinvented lives. Look at the phenomenon of the "Matrix" movies. They were all style driven turds. All kung-fu and no chops when it came to telling some kind of compelling story. But maybe the Matrix is really a metaphor for today. Put on your Darth Vader party masks, your Chewie suits, stoke up the plastic flashlight light sabers, play, and make merry. We don't want real, we can't dig it, we like slick CGI shit instead. All the world is a stage, and life is just a play, a lot like a Playstation game.

Well researched and right on target

Ferraro's old world Italian New York neighborhood racism, is a nasty kind that was bound to bubble to the top, and that few were aware of it just prooves that people were more impressed with her slick celebrity than any actual goodness or integrity in the individual. Just like Clinton, Geraldine is wrapped too tight, and it was only a matter of time before she would unravel under the stresses of a sorely fought campaign. She should have kept her stupid mouth shut.

Hey,

I don't know about all this righteous and holy indignations from out of the convent corner. But where I come from when you F*** up, you've F***ed up, and you pick up from there. Some of you ladies ought to just own up and get off the angelic kick you're trying to put people on with. People have eyes and ears and ways of knowing know a con when it's coming at them. You can put a pretty face on Ferraro, but mostly I see a lot of ugliness simmering undermeath her polished politicial poise.

Ugly is Ugly...

...and Ferraro is one major Medusa.

I like what brian had to say...

He said that he likes Obama because he likes what Obama stands for. I have to make the obvious rejoiner for myself in saying I like what Obama stands for too, because unlike Hillary Clinton, in this situation now, or the next, he is not always standing knee deep in dumb, divisive, disgusting shit.

Friday, March 14, 2008 01:03 PM

Violet, white, indigo, black...

Clinton and Carville run a carnival campaign that's inhaling way too much crack. Their frantic focus on color conciousness is knocking them unconcious to the true color of the cares and concerns of ordinary americans. Those shades of concern are not colored in simple shades of black and white. Things are a lot much richer and diverse, in my American real life universe, and the black and white issue can only serve Clinton, as a politically short sighted curse.
