A Low Way to Go...

Beyond this B.S., Hillary has begun to strong sell herself as the Golden Gringo here in Texas. She seems to be betting the entire future of her campaign that our state is 100% demographically comrised of Latinos who will devotedly vote for her because Clinton is a "trusted" a brand name that's been around a while like Quaker Oats. San Antonio is one of the most conservative hispanic cities in the state, and here in Houston Obama has very solid support in East Texas. I smell the scent desperation all over Clintons Target Texas last stand.

Sigh!

Mao...you big meanie!

Hillary the War Hawk

Plus people don't want another round of Clintons after they've suffered through a long round of Bush's is why Hillary is having such a hard time. Time for new blood, new ideas, and a new direction. I think the whole gender vote thing is overblown.

Down with Dungey Old Dynasties

Go with Clinton...it's better to stay with something rotten and old, than to charter a new course that's bright and bold.

The "sexist" charge isn't oversensitive....

...it's just stupid.

Hawkeye Hillary's brand new foreign policy slogan:

"Next year...TEHRAN!"

Psychedelic Sid & Marty

Thanks, I enjoyed that piece. The phrase "neon Narnia" is a hilariously clever desciption of the Kroft style.

She's Tried to Put a New Face on Her Support of the Iraq War.

But I don't see a new face, I see a two face.

Wisconsin Bullshit Detectors

If you guys in Wisconsin really do have built in bullshit detectors I can only imagine what kind of wild and erratic readings you must receive anytime a Clinton is nearby.

Monday, February 18, 2008 09:50 PM

Vote for Paul?

Why waste a vote? Obama is a vote well and wisely spent.

Monday, February 18, 2008 10:09 PM

I hear ya!

I'm 43 and I'm pretty pleased also.

Monday, February 18, 2008 10:34 PM

Anonymous, I fell you are unbalanced

Mentally unbalanced that is.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 03:20 PM

You know Obama detractors are starting to whig...

when they start characterizing Obama as some kind of secret saracen. This sicko spectacle can only make me desire change all the more vigorously.

No Dummy

Bill will be her V.P.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 05:48 PM

Who is this NYTimes guy?

He sounds like some fossilized old codger that should retire to grumpy old man land.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 08:02 PM

Yes!

Thanks Wisconsin!

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 09:38 PM

She'll be "ready on DAY ONE!"

It's starting to look like her day one is done.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 11:03 PM

I like Michelle too

She's not a put on patriot like Mcain's plastic surgery disaster spouce.

For cryin' out loud close the book on the Clintons.

Hillary Horseshit Clinton should once again start thinking about her constituents in the state of New York and give up her vainglorious grab for the whitehouse. That woman is so in love with scent of her own shit that the shear super scale of her "superwoman" hubris is scarey. maybe if she had her feet firmly planted on the ground and believed in something beyond her own unredoubtable believe in herself people would treat her bid for the biggest of all jobs with a bit more seriousness. I can't abide her smug, superior insularity, and the sooner she gets back to her job as senator of New York the better. The Clintons had their day, now's their time to fade away.

Friday, February 22, 2008 01:04 AM

Look, I'm from Houston Texas...

...and there was no Texas-size kind of moment for Clinton in evidence there that I could perceive. It might of been Arkansas-size, but it sure wasn't Texas-size. And just as a general observation, Arkansas size just ain't sayin' much.

Clinton's sympathy moment and Obama's momentum

Hillary's craft at emoting another swelling of sacararine sympathy won't make me nostalgic for another Clinton dynasty as a new decade dawns. Out with the old and in with the new, it is time for this country to find and fix upon, a fresh new view. Houston is hot for Obama. Enough political dissection, bring on the election!

Friday, February 22, 2008 03:01 PM

I am so weary of hearing about Clinton

History is not on her side.

Friday, February 22, 2008 05:35 PM

Hlillary, how do you do it?

How do you work on our fears while you turn on your tears? They called Reagan the great communicator. Perhaps they could call you the great manipulator. No crocodile tears are gonna catch my vote, I'm gonna cast my ballot for some genuine hope. You so movingly talked about Iraq war veterans and amputees, but YOU'RE the one who sent them overseas.

Friday, February 22, 2008 06:18 PM

I will not vote for a war hawk

Hillary had the hots for invading Iraq. It was her Margaret Thatcher moment. Her gleefully aggressive and militaristic solutions to dealing with overseas situations are as beligerent and insane as those of senator Joe Lieberman whose green light go ahead legistation for laying out an attack on Iran she eagerly endorced and voted for.

Friday, February 22, 2008 08:20 PM

not to mention being full of it.

shit that is.

Hillary in Dallas

Has anybody read this latest bit of taking tragedy and turning it into poloitical oppurtunism. As you've probably read, a Dallas motorcycle cop protecting Clinton's motorcade had a fatal accident today. The cop who died while providing security to Clinton's crumbling campaign was later praised by Clinton as "Strugglinhg like so many millions of other Americans." I'm sure that's real reassuring to the cop's family. What a bitch! Hillary "cares" about the little people.

Saturday, February 23, 2008 08:46 PM

can't speak for hutman

but i wouldn't vote for her.

Nader announces...

..and a nation yawns.

Sunday, February 24, 2008 11:45 AM

"Dumbed down..."

..is Adraian Schnabel's specialty. some would say he makes "art films." i would say that Schabel is more about artiface than art. His flicks look good, but there's nothing there under the surface.

Sunday, February 24, 2008 12:11 PM

Nader a Problem?

Nader is an insect. He's so marginal it amazes me.

Sunday, February 24, 2008 03:15 PM

Hillary's campaign is like the ill fated Hindenburg

Going up in a big fireball of infamy!

Monday, February 25, 2008 08:20 PM

What a puff piece!

As far as men not voting for a woman to president, show a man a good candidate and he'll vote for her. Nancy Pelosi for President works for me. But a paranoid, uncomfortable in her own skin creep like Clinton? No!

Tuesday, February 26, 2008 09:09 AM

"The Dude Vote"

Simply put, this "dude" will not vote for another Clinton residency in the white house. Time to press on and introduce new talent to the job of being president. People, some people, are afraid to press ahead. I am not. Obama gets my vote. No more Clinton carnivals. No more stupid scandals. No more smug condescentions. All Hillary can do for this country is split this country into mutually antagonistic political factions that will all go picnicing on each other, making no meaningful inroads to anywhere, or making any kind of progress what so ever.

Tuesday, February 26, 2008 08:25 PM

Okay, Everybody's Israel credentials checked out?

Now if just somehow somebody could approach brokering a true, just, and lasting peace between the Palestinians and Israelis. Clinton is not that person. Bill Clinton made Martin Indyk, an important and influential pro-Israel lobbyist, an important diplomat and advisor in his administration. Lobbyists and neo-con nutcases should not be shaping American foreign policy in a very delicate and volitile part of the world.
