The have higher infant immortality
So far as I know, "The" have the same rate of infant immortality as anyone, that is, zero.
The US's infant mortality rate, on the other hand, is worse than either Canada or the UK's. Here are the the infant mortality rates of the US and the 42 countries better than us at keeping babies alive, from that well known left wing source, the CIA 2008 fact book (numbers are infant deaths per 100 live births):

As I understand it, the big thunderstorms in the ITCV top out at over 50,000 feet. Over is not an option, but around usually is...
...is even more complicated than the poster above noted. What they said is all correct--but there was another purely local issue mixed in, which was the lawsuit the Metro transit folks had filed against the contractors who built the last stretch of the light rail system (for cost overruns around $100 million). Metro lost, and so in addition to eating the cost overrruns, got to cover additional millions of dollars of legal expenses from said contractors.
This did not make a good impression on the locals a few months later when the funding came up for a vote.
Is enabled to a great extent through Medicare. You know, socialized medicine.
On the other hand, we're 46th in the world in terms of infant mortality. USA! USA!
Ruben Bolling is a pen name. The gentleman who does the strip was, last I heard, an investment banker with a Harvard Law degree.
One suspects he's probably never had problems on the dating front.
1) Thimerosal is a preservative, not an adjuvant.
2) The doses earmarked for pregnant women and infants have no Thimerosal in them.
3) At this time, H1N1 vaccines for the US market will not contain aluminum, squalene or other adjuvants. This may or may not change after clinical trials.
