No they are not
[Read the article: Are our husbands really so helpless?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's becoming very pervasive in our society. Men are portrayed as stupid bumbling idiots. TV commercials, sitcoms, letters to publication like yours, etc. It seems like men are the ones who don't know how to clean, personal hygiene, undisciplined, insensitive, walk around being led by their penises. This is absolutely untrue. Unfortunately women who find and marry/keep the kinds of men that all these complaining wives wish they had never say a word. Like Bonnie Raitt said "don't advertise your man".

Sex After 50? Mais oui!
[Read the article: Sex after 50? Mais oui!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I just turned 58. I was widowed last year. I was happily married for 20 plus years. Needless to say, I did not indulge in any extramarital affairs during that time.
I have become sexually active again in the past six months. I was very pleasantly surprised when I did. I have found the women that I have been with to be warm, loving, sexually adventurous, no hang-ups and certainly no insecurities. Their self-confidence and high self esteem is soooo sexy! Oh, I forgot to mention that they're all over 50. All of them Americans from the heartland and the south. They are head and shoulders above the younger women that I have met. What they seem to have in common is 1)Have or had very successful careers. 2)They are physically fit, exercise on a regular basis and have been doing so all their adult lives. 3) All their children (if they have any)are grown 4)They were never married or were very happily married. 5)I never heard a single derogatory remark about men in general or men in their past lives in particular.
What all that means, I couldn't tell you. All I know is that they are the most beautiful women I have ever known.
