Ok, I'm Confused...

The surge is working. But no, it's not really working, it's just that Al-Qaeda is waiting for the right moment to spring back into action, so that Americans can see that the surge ISN'T working, in which case they won't want to elect John McCain?

Is the senile dementia setting in on poor old Mac already?

Hillary will admit she was wrong about Iraq...

about the same time Joan admits she's biased in favor of Hillary and against Obama, alas...

Original article: Was Obama's speech enough?

Hope you get your job, Joan

Seriously, if Hillary gets elected, I hope you get the big payoff you are clearly pandering for, and you get that West Wing job or TV pundit gig you seem to want.

After all, objectivity be damned, right?

Joan's next job... Who else wants in on the reader pool?

So, anyone want to take a square in the reader pool?

Joan Walsh's Next Job

1. If McCain Wins

-- Joan stays put

-- Joan becomes cable pundit

-- Joan gets cable pundit show of her own

-- Joan get job in Clinton's California senate office

-- Joan gets job working for Bill Clinton's charitable foundation

-- Other, TBD

(I'm taking "Joan stays put" in this scenario)

2. If Hillary Wins

-- Joan stays put

-- Joan becomes a cable pundit

-- Joan gets cable pundit show of her own

-- Joan get job in Clinton's West Wing (Communications director, perhaps?)

-- Joan gets fat book contract to write new book about Hillary presidency

-- Other, TBD

(I'm taking West Wing job.)

3. If Obama Wins

-- Joan stays put

-- Joan becomes a poorly paid token liberal cable pundit on Fox, main responsibility: critiquing Obama

-- Joan get job in Clinton's California senate office

-- Joan gets fat book contract to write critical book about Obama presidency

-- Other, TBD

(I'm taking cable pundit, with some failed book proposals to try to get that book contract)
